The 4th gear syncro in my impreza had been crunching for at least the last 50k mile or more. I had to learn how to double clutch like an old non-synchro manual to work around it. The trans was due for an oil change, so I put some fresh gear oil in. The problem was still there. Then I remembered seeing this product on Amazon. I didn't have high hopes for it, but for $20 per box, I figured why not. I put two syringes in and after a 10 minute drive in the neighborhood, the 4th gear crunch was completely gone, and even 5th felt better. My trans is shifting like brand new. Only time will tell how long it'll last. I still can't believe it worked. It's like witch craft. I'm so happy my baby is fixed.

I have used this product before in the blister pack on my snowmobiles chain cases and I had my track replaced on my 1996 Polaris Xlt touring sled and the shop which did it commented on the condition of the gears in the chain case and how the reverse gear looked like new despite the snowmobile having 7500 miles on it. I did this back in 2010 and now have about 9000 miles on my Sled. I use Amsoil interceptor and Amsoil chain case lube and Xado products to help maintain my vehicles. I used Xado for the first time back in 2007 when my wife told me our 1995 Dodge Stratus ES with the 2.5 liter V6 engine was making a rattling sound. I checked the oil and found nothing on the oil dip stick. I added oil and soon found that the factory oil pressure sender sprung a leak. I went over to Napa and got another oil sender and changed the oil with Amsoil synthetic and I noticed once the engine warmed up the oil light would flicker when idling. I went to a mechanic and he told me I most likely spun a con rod or main bearing with the engine being ran without oil. I told him I use Amsoil and he said that most likely prevented the engine from locking up. He suggested that I use Lucas which help some what on preventing the oil light from flickering constantly whIle idling. I stumbled across Xado on the internet a decided to give it a try and by the second tube out of the 3 blisters the oil light flicker was off for good. We drove the car for another 2 years after that before we sold it and the check oil light stayed off. I use both Amsoil synthetic oil and Xado engine treatment in all my cars and I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra with over 400,000 miles on the original never been rebuilt engine and transmission and I am not sure if its entirely the Amsoil or a combination of both Amsoil synthetic and Xado but the car still runs well and the transmission shifts very well and I use Amsoil ATF which I recently did a drain and fill on. I even put it in my Fiesta after changing the DCT gear lube as preventive maintenance. I seen about a 1 mpg increase in Fuel economy since changing the fluid and adding the 120+ gear Xado gear revitalize. I figured it is cheap insurance and I like the fuel economy of the 2012 Ford Fiesta SE so I will see if it helps to increase the cars longevity even with Ford's poorly rated DCT 6 speed automated manual transmission. I bought the car used in 2014 and loved the price $10,000 and fuel economy 40 mpg. I thought about buying a Prius but a similar used Prius was over 7000 dollars more expensive than the Fiesta for simular miles 24,000 on the odometer and model year. So far working out very well.

It is the best solution, both for prevention and elimination of varying degrees of noise without expensive repairs. I recommend absolutely all XADO products

This additive came highly recommended for Transmissions with over 100 thousand miles. Put this in when I changed Transmission fluid in my 2000 Chevy S10.

I've used this several times. My synchro in 2nd gear grinds religiously. However when I added one tube of this it immediately stopped... for just over 10,000 miles. After that, the grinding slowly came back. I changed my gear oil to Eneos and added another tube and the grinding went away. It's been 25,000 miles since then and the grinding has not come back. So was it the xado or the Eneos? or perhaps both? Either way, it appears that this stuff had a hand in extending the life/drivability of my car.

I can't tell if it works. Couple hundred miles and the gear box sound is the same! So, I don't know if it helps or not.

First it fixed an initial small grind into fifth almost instantly! Then after like 30 miles it started to have hard shifting into almost all gears. Which is honestly worse…. Don’t know what next course of actions is I guess empty all my brand new oil and refill.

I'm surprised because my car is starting to show signs of improvement and its only been 2 days since I added this transmission product to my manual transmission. Now In all fairness, I do admit that my transmission wasn't giving me problems. However, this is my daily work car, so it has a lot of miles and thought I'd try it. Gotta say, my car seems to be running smoother & it seems to be getting quieter. Like when Im idling at a stop light.

Drove 1000+KM post adding felt no change

Ich hatte vor über 2 Jahren aufgrund von Differenzialgeräuschen vorne das Diff.-öl gewechselt (viel Metallspäne am Magnet) und damals Xado 100% eingefüllt, jetzt habe ich 03.21 und ca. 30.000 Km mehr auf dem Tacho nochmal das Öl gewechselt (Geräusche waren noch genauso da), Xado 120 % eingefüllt und bin ca. 5000 Km gefahren. Nach dem ersten Diff.-öl-wechsel hatte ich noch keinen nennenswerten Unterschied bemerkt, jetzt aber ist das Geräusch leiser geworden. Ich bin sehr überrascht, dass es funktioniert. Ob es am nochmaligen Öl-wechsel oder vll. doch am besseren Xado120 % liegt ? - ich weiß es nicht, kann es aber aufgrund meiner jetzigen Erfahrung empfehlen.
