What is this dog's height from the bottom of his feet to the top of his head?

Wolfgang is from the 16 inch Dog Collection from Douglas. He is approximately 11 inches from the top of his head to his feet, and 16 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. I hope that helps. Vicki

The ears are sewn down to the head halfway down the ear. Should that be clipped to allow ear to be loose are are they supposed to stay stitched?

We have 2 of these purchased 2 years apart. The first ones ears are not sewn down. The second ones are sewn down in one spot but could easily be detached with a seam ripper if that’s what you wanted without destroying the stuffed animal. Honestly it’s quite comical that I’m just now seeing the differences in these stuffed animals years later. We now have a real German short haired pointer puppy & when she outgrew her tiny collar we put it on one of the stuffed animals.

Are his legs too thin and wobbly to sort of stand up? They look thinner than other douglas dogs' legs.

This is the small one but he stands strong with wire in his legs. Great for a tumble with kids and cute enough for me a German Short haired Pointer raiser.

Is this puppy attached to the little blanket?

No. Not attached and a blanket does not come with the dog.

Quality and gorgeous.

What quality. It’s definitely with the price. The dig is a perfect size. It’s made so well and detailed beautifully. The colors and tones make it look so real. It’s so soft and cuddly. The. MOST. Perfect. Dog. He is sooo floppy, which is a huge plus if you want to cuddle with him (or her). The color is exactly as shown, literally picture perfect. He is a medium sized dog, a bit smaller that “Chase” the border collie from Douglas. He is light and squishy, perfect for hugs 😙. He is an amazing ESSA, and my main ofc. If you want an amazing ESSA or cuddle buddy, get this dog!

It is a great emotional support stuffed animal for me

This German pointer is very soft and very cute and good for comfort, plushy or emotional support stuffed animal. It is very cute but when you cut the string of the ear, it is very floppy and very cute as well so y’all guys should buy this and it’s fun for kids

Perfect gift!

The texture is very soft and the coloration is very diverse and shiny. The stuffed animal does not have any hard parts that can hurt a child and the nose is a soft leather texture. Because it is very soft it is perfect for sleep. The quality of the stuffed animal is superb! The stand ability of the stuffed animal is ok, it does not stand on its own sometimes. The Wolfgang pointer makes an amazing gift for any kid that loves animals. I obtained this for my daughter’s birthday and she took it to the safari park in San Diego. When she washed the stuffed animal, all the hair and color kept looking and feeling the same as before. The size is perfect to cary anywhere. It engages kids to play, dress up, and much more with a durable and quality product.

German pointers are the best

So cute he is so fun. I love him. He’s so soft. He’s really floppy. His ears aren’t so soft. He has a good color, but it’s a little bit more dark. There’s like less white just pointing it out, but I still love the color. There’s actually no plastic on him other than his eyes. I don’t even know what his eyes are made out of really it’s not really stable. It’s like he’s more floppy but if you get the stuffed animal, you’ll love it.
