I bought this since they didn't have the sample pack in stock, like in forever... This flavor and Thai Chili is my go too. I tried all of them, don't really care for the Jalapeno and Mediterranean ones. And I love Jalapeno flavored anything.. but something just didn't hit right with those 2 other flavors. For a small can, this has a great amount of protein and it's in Olive oil, which is good for you. Good price for the 12 pack. Great for a light healthy lunch, goes good with mixed greens.

Delicious. I'm kind of addicted to these. I was on a sardine kick but mackerel is even better. They taste buttery, and so savory. Good melt in your mouth texture without being mushy. Like a cross between Sardines and Tuna. The price is questionable though, as I bought them for $32 just a few weeks ago and this last time I purchased they were $39. Still worth it in my opinion.

This high quality mackerel is a delicious alternative to tuna. And this mackerel is healthy, packed in olive oil instead of unhealthy oils, such as cottonseed, that we see fish packed with too often.

Tasty, good texture, so good for you. My daily driver for a reason.

The lemon flavor is quite strong and it’s very juicy. The oil content is great as it’s olive oil and very good for overall health.

This is my preferred brand so far. Mackerel was new to me about a year before this review but now it’s my goto. The flavor of mackerel is much stronger than tuna, but it’s better on my tongue. Very rarely do I get a bone, but sometimes a little one does sneak its way in. It’s a fact of life. This fish stays chunky so well, but flakes easily, not as easily as tuna, but it does flake. I’ve tried just the plain ones, but if you like lemon and oil with your fish in general, I would say try this version first. If you like other flavors, try flavored versions. Think about it in the form of “it’s been marinating in that awesome flavor the entire time” like a marinade, you won’t be disappointed with the help. My favorite way to use this is to turn it into an upgraded “tuna” salad/dip. I use avocado, tomato, egg, and a tin of this. With seasonings I like (garlic, onion, garlic chili oil, fennel, cilantro, salt and pepper, and more lemon juice/zest), and its out of this world.

Let me just say this is delicious tinned fish. I tried the sample pack first and fell in love with the lemon. I just purchased the pack of 12 lemon flavor and only received 11 tins. There is no service available for this product (I understand the no returns on food items...I just want what I paid for) so I just got shorted a tin and can't do anything about it
