This cinammon is high quality organic . As soon as I opened the package the aroma, color and consistency was wonderful. It adds a robust flavor to my coffee mix and baked goods. I would recommend it as the price is fair as well.

Short and sweet review! I was looking for an Organic Cinnamon as part of my health regiment and after a lot of research ended up choosing this product. Oh my it's really good! I put about half the bag into a counter top glass container with a sealed lid to keep it fresh. Superb taste, superb texture. Mixes well in various drinks. I use it mostly in my morning coffee and it froths a bit when stirred. Not much else to say about it. It's fantastic, has a great price for the quantity and it's Organic! Go for it! You won't be disappointed.

It's a another wonderful bulk organic product from Frontier. But be forewarned that this cinnamon is not for daily consumption due to its high amounts of naturally occurring coumarin, a substance that is toxic to the liver if consumed daily. Every non "Ceylon" cinnamon has this is varying degrees. For that reason I made the switch to Frontier Organic's Ceylon cinnamon. Otherwise this product tastes and smells great.

i used to ground my own cinnamon from the sticks to ensure freshness. After 20 years that got tiresome. I'd purchased Frontier spices before and had no issues with freshness so I figured why not? Opening the well sealed bag was a delight for my olfactory senses; I love the smell of cinnamon and anyone who uses it constantly in their cooking or baking knows what I mean. The spice is evenly ground, rich in color, and velvety to touch. Way better than what I was achieving grinding my own cinnamon sticks. I want those 20 years back! I filled up 3 containers and then shared the rest with friends. It'll be awhile before I need cinnamon again, but my next organic spice purchase will be from Frontier.

The flavor is very good and the quantity for the price is excellent. The cinnamon is finely powdered and flows freely from a regular shaker bottle without plugging the holes. However, the package IS NOT RESEALABLE, so you must have storage capacity to keep the generous quantity fresh. I filled a regular sized shaker bottle and two 2-cup plastic screw-top storage containers with the contents.

I opened the bag and the aroma was heavenly The flavor is outstanding as cinnamon goes . This must be fresh . I am pleased only thing I think would make me happier about this product is not the cinnamon but the bag it comes in . If this is what keeps the flavor in no problem , but a resealable bag would be awesome if it kept the freshness of this product intact

Reviewing the Frontier Co-op Store Organic Ground Vietnamese Cinnamon, 1-Pound Bulk. I have been tuned into Vietnamese Cinnamon for years now, originally being introduced to it at a local Penzeys Spices. And, I fell fast and hard! It's an impossibility NOT to! Well, Penzeys closed their local store a couple of years back, but thankfully, I was still able to get this DELICIOUSLY fragrant, bold, almost sweet Vietnamese Cinnamon through their online store. But the price (for a much smaller jar) on top of the SHIPPING charges just became UNBEARABLE and unrealistic. When searching for an alternative, I found this brand and took a chance. The price for a whopping 1 lb bag was mind-blowing in comparison to Penzeys and, as it turns out, the taste and fragrance - IDENTICAL! I couldn't be happier to have found this supplier for my beloved Vietnamese Cinnamon!!! Trust me, if you haven't tried it, you simply MUST! You just can't imagine the difference from the crappy stuff you may be buying at the grocery store like I did all those years ago. One try and you will be a believer and will never go back! I didn't fear ordering such a large quantity because I use a LOT of cinnamon - you probably will increase your consumption also when you get a nose of the aroma and then the sweet, bold taste. On top of the cinnamon profile and properties, stand-alone, it's certified organic, non-GMO, non-irradiated, kosher and sustainably grown. If you're on the fence, DO IT, you will have zero regrets (well, except you might regret not getting it sooner!) There's a REASON it's got almost 5 stars in over 1,000 reviews.

I was advised to take this because of my diabetes. However, the first few attempts took the roof of my mouth off and my tongue became very sensitive! I have found that the best way of taking it is in yoghurt before a meal. I also drink pure lemon juice before meals. Early days yet, I have only tested my sugar once but I was very surprised at the reduction. I am very happy now that I have sorted out the method of taking it.

Wanted a cinnamon where I could add a teaspoon and the flavor would go a long way. Like Martha Stewarts high quality cinnamon only add the best. Didn't totally get that with this product. It is better than the store brands I have available and way better than the cheapest of cheap powders but not 25 dollars great. Use it in my special baked goods for a special cinnamon feel not super powerful doesn't overwhelm but can't say its better enough to warrent the price.

I have never smelled and tasted anything better that this cinnamon (the old one from a supermarket went straight to the bin after I've opened this one). As it is a large quantity I keep it in an airtight container in the fridge. I would recommend this product.
