Just right
I needed an MRI and had to use these in some 10G piercings and the sizing was perfect. I was concerned with how they would slide in but it was an ease better than some smaller ones I have from another brand. The o-ring on the end was a concern for me but the fit and quality of the connection was great and keep my piercing safe while getting the scan. They look identical to the pictures and are smoothly casted

I trimmed mine to use for a 10g labret retainer
They work great. They're lightweight and easy to trim down to size if you need them for something like a gauged up labret. I have a 10g in my lip, and finding labret retainers in that size are a pain. With this? Just clipped them down to the size I wanted and sanded the edges with an emory board for comfort. The material has enough friction on it that I don't have to wear an o-ring to keep it in place- I even eat lunches with mine in, and no one has noticed that it's there at the new job. So if you're looking for a larger gauge retainer that you can trim down to fit odd piercings? These are good for that. They're really comfy, fit well, easy to trim, and are virtually undetectable once they're in.

Retainers, not for all-day wear
Product arrived quickly, seems well made, pricing is very good. The end where the O-ring goes could be finished more smoothly, it's got some mold flashing or seam or something that is sharp-ish and unpleasant. The rest of it is smooth, works well for what it's supposed to be, and doesn't interfere with medical stuff like MRIs. It's sold as "retainer" and as long as you stick to that, it's a very good product. On the tongue retainer thought: If you're looking for something for a job interview, or worse, all-day-at-the-office, this isn't it. It's more white than clear, probably at least as easy to see as a black barbell, the sizing is such that it's not going to tuck in comfortably, and the weird shape tends to catch on things. Also, O-ring retention is not secure enough to eat with this in your tongue, you'll probably need to remove it to eat, unless you dine exclusively on liquids. If you're looking for something all-day-wearable that will actually mostly disappear, look to the clear, black, or flesh-tone barbell products out there with secure thread-on ends, and get something that fits properly, as this does neither of those. As a nipple retainer, it's excellent. Smooth, comfortable, light weight, non-metallic, and it's not like visibility to coworkers is a huge concern for most there. Not for play, though, again, back to that "secure thread-on ends" bit, or you'll be scrambling to find where it went when it fell out.

Good quality but I need bigger
Good quality but too short for me. I have to have MRIs done next week and I just pierced my third holes 2 months ago and my helix a month ago. I do not want them to start closing while I’m having to do all of that so I got these to fill in while I’m having to do that but I’m afraid they are going to be too short, so I’m going to order some hoops. These seem easy to open and close. Don’t know about installation, because I’m not going to try to put them in since I’m returning. If my holes weren’t so new and still a little swollen, I think these would be perfect.

not bad
gets the job done. the standard metal tongue ring was rubbing my teeth/gums and was very annoying. this one doesn’t rub much but sometimes can scratch my gum area

Comfortable and appealing
Easy to insert through your tongue and easy to use. Size is minimal and a good value for the money. Seems durable and not easy breakable.

O-rings are too loose and keep falling off
The o-rings aren't tight enough and keep slipping off resulting in the bar falling out. Waste of money.

Does the job
I brought these to be “ discreet” with my tongue piercing. The way I wore it was with the flat part on top of my tongue and the ball under. It’s cool but I still got caught with it lol. I got caught because the it’s shiny. My job requires me to talk loud so if the lighting is right, the ring will be seen (hope that makes sense). But if your not talking much or don’t have to be in anyones face, then this will be for you. But over all It’s comfortable and small. Update: depending on the batch you get, the flat part can cut the roof of your mouth. But again, over all not to bad. Also I don’t like how 5 come in a pack. Due to my job, I wear these every day…all day which means I go though the pack quite fast.
