Edelbrock 1487 Performer Series Carburetor Calibration Kit

Nice kit. Even had the hard to find tiny clips. I was able to lean my carb out with it.

I bought this kit to tune the 1406 on my box-stock 1964 Lincoln Continental. These carbs are tuned lean for fuel economy, but with this kit you can unlock some power and dramatically improve drivability. The Edelbrock is incredibly easy to tune on the car without, so if you can hold a screwdriver in your hand you can tune-and-drive til your heart's content.

Be warned that there are way cheaper Chinese knock off carburetor tuning kits out there for considably less money. But, with the quality control issues plaguing these kits, why would you risk your engine to save $50? Not to mention when you have done the research and calculations to put in the exact jets or rods you need, only for it to be 20% different than advertised. This kit does not compare to cheap immigrations. Spend the money on quality!

Worked great for my 1406 carb. Easy to read map with setups. Jets, rods and kickup springs worked well and were great quality.

I used the springs and one size smaller rods to make my engine pull a little better. This calibration kit is what makes these carbs work like they are supposed to. I've heard a lot of people talking bad about the Edelbrock carbs. I've used the carbs on at least 20 engines in different configurations and don't see what the problem is. I think that the "haters" just aren't smart enought to figure out how to tune the Edelbrock carbs.

Si tienes un Edelbrock 1406 al que quieras modifcar, este kit es indispensable. Trae todo lo necesario para reducir/incrementar la inyección de combustible (espreas, rods, resortes), por lo que no necesitarás nada más. Personamente, recomiendo que este kit sea comprado en conjunto con el kit 1477 (rebuild kit) y el kit 1479 (1405 tunning kit), para poder disponer de un mayor rango de modificaciones en tu carburador, y al mismo tiempo, hacer un refresh de juntas y piezas necesarias para un excelente desempeño.
