Given they stopped making the OEM version this is a serviceable replacement - not as good as the one that came with the camera 'capacity' wise but useful as a backup . (in my case for Nikon D90). Fits perfectly in camera and charger. The camera itself recognizes it fine and the various battery level indicators on the camera work as intended.
