My favorite handheld game - quite fun when you have a few extra minutes to spare. My 21-year old son with autism really enjoys this game and has better luck than I do with it. Not sure how he figured it out but he did and because each game is different, there is no danger of his getting "stuck" with repetitious sounds/functions.

This game was recommended to me to buy for a friend 8 yrs. old.
I have not personally seen this game played, but was told it is a good game and nice change of pace from being on the computer.

Entire row does not work. Item is no longer manufactured.
Bought this as a Christmas gift. Entire row does not work. I emailed the manufacturer per Amazon and they are not able to help. At this point I just want a refund.

finally showed up
product finally showed up 10 days after original delivery date. Product was new in original container, dead battery included. Handicapped person I purchased this for was very happy with it. So it will not be returned. Product is good, shipping was refunded so kudo's to the vendor for that

Great game to pass the time!
I loved the classic game as a kid. This allows me to play even when I don't have a partner. It's portable and easy to take with you anywhere. You can set the skill level and manually select your layouts, or let the game select them automatically. You'll love it!

I liked the sound feature of firing & ships exploding; there is the MUTE button when needed. 3 different versions of play for difficulty & style. Great to have the HIGH SCORE retained. I was disappointed that it didn't run on AA batteries like the Yahtzee one. Watch batteries can be expensive & hard to find that certain type. Though, the game gives you a choice of you hiding your 5 ships, or the computer to.

Poor AI
The computer intelligence is quite poor. For e.g. there have been times when it attempts to locate lets say my battleship (a ship that requires 4 hits) in an area where only a ship that requires 2 or 3 hits can be located. This should not be really. The computer's attempt at locating ships seems to be purely random.

22 Years Strong
I had to buy this game for my husband,it is his favorite game.This is his third Hand Held Battleship game he has had (Exact). It is very hard to find now and I was very lucky to find it on Amazon. I will be buying another one to keep on hand for him 3 in 22 years proves they last a very long time. My Husband is very Happy Again!
