Excellent, inexpensive upgrade for Chinese pit bikes
My son recently bought the Apollo DBX 15 (125cc)... We took him for his first ride with the original, factory carburetor. The bike ran, but hardly. It was a struggle to keep running and once the factory air filter got a bit dirty, things got worse. We read about the upgrade to this Mikuni knock-off and were skeptical. I am skeptical no more. The bike runs amazing now. For the Apollo bike, it is a bolt on, easy swap for the original carb. The 90 degree tube that comes with the kit were not needed for our installation. The foam air filter is nice, easy to wash. The only issue is that the outer element sleeve of the air filter did touch on the exhaust pipe and burn a bit, but nothing much. I slid it about an inch forward to move it away from the exhaust pipe. For the price this is an amazing upgrade. My son was so frustrated but now he can easily start the bike, it doesn't stall and he can just enjoy riding. HIghly recommended.

Fit and worked
Slight adjustments and this carb had my thumpstar 125 ripping around. Ran great and fit up like factory.

Solid little carb — fired my bike right up
I picked up this VM22 26mm carburetor as a replacement for my pit bike, and it worked great right out of the box. Install was simple — everything lined up the way it should, and it only took a few minutes to bolt it on and hook up the throttle and fuel line. Once installed, the bike started almost immediately. Idle was smooth, throttle response felt better, and I didn’t have to fight with a bunch of tuning just to get it running. The overall build quality seems solid for the price, with no leaks or issues so far. If you’re looking for a quick, affordable carb swap to freshen up a 110–140cc pit bike, this VM22 is definitely worth it. Runs great and gets the job done without any hassle.

Fantastic Upgrade for a Pitster Pro FSE110R
I installed this carburetor on a Pitster Pro FSE110R. Initial impression The kit came complete with all the parts and accessories for installation. The overall quality of the parts is very good. Some elbow grease (see details below) will make a smooth install and operation. Carburetor Carb itself is very high quality. I removed the throttle slide cap and de-burred the top edge with sandpaper so it does not tear into the rubber gasket in the cap. I checked the float height and it was set properly from the factory. The choke shaft seemed dry with coarse metal-to-metal contact. I sprayed very little at the choke shaft to make it operate smoothly. Manifold The manifold opening measures 25.5mm on both ends. The manifold is angled, just like the OEM manifold on the FSE110R. This is to offset the carb away from the frame. The new manifold is slightly taller because of the taller VM22. Before the install, I took a sandpaper to smooth out the sharp inside edges around the intake runner. I reused the OEM bolts to attach the manifold onto the engine, don't forget to install the new gasket here. Carburetor Spacer / Thermal Barrier Again a sandpaper comes into play to remove the burr. Don't need to go crazy because the o-ring makes the actual seal. Mounting Carburetor Make sure to install the carburetor with the spacer (and o-ring) between it and the manifold. The provided (M6) bolts are the proper length. Since the OEM carb has the nut integrated into the carb, I had to sourced two M6 lock nuts with nylon inserts. I like the idea of using this type of lock nuts because, one, the nylon insert prevents the nut from backing out due to vibration , two, I do not have to risk over-tightening the bolts and cracking the plastic thermal spacer. Remember, there are o-rings on the spacer and the carb. You only need to fasten the nuts enough to create effective seal. Don't crank it down too far. Additional tips: 1. In my case, the bolts go in from the manifold side, through the spacer, the carburetor, and the locking nuts. 2. For the bolt and nut on the choke-side, you may have to temporarily lift the choke lever to get the nut in place, while threading the bolt through. Hoses Connect the smaller ID hose at the bottom of the bowl for fuel / overflow drain. Cut the larger ID hose in length for fuel feed. Use the remaining or cut it in length for the overflow / vent. Air Filter The provided air filter is good quality with two-layers of foams that are different density. Make sure to oil the inner foam properly if you ride in dirt / dusty places (i.e., offroad). When in doubt, it's always a good practice to oil your foam filter. Bonus / Optional 1. I installed a pre-filter / sock for easier and less frequent foam cleaning down the road. 2. I also installed an extended fuel screw for easier turning. [UPDATE 11/16/2020 - Carb Tuning / Fuel Screw] I took my daughter out and did some riding and carb tuning. Long story short, with the oiled pot filter and OEM (straight-through) exhaust on the FSE110, the fuel screw is 1.25 turns out. My daughter is very happy with the new carb, she says the bike runs smoother and stronger. We also noticed that the throttle travel is longer than the OEM VM19. It is actually better as VM19 has shorter travel and is harder to modulate. [UPDATE 3/15/2021 - Reliability and Performance] I am still very satisfied with this carb. The FSE110R has been hibernating in the garage for the last five months. Yesterday it started right up with choke (close to 50F air temp). Turned off the choke after about 10 seconds and it ran beautifully afterwards without a single hiccup. The quiet exhaust really make it a lot quieter. I turned the fuel screw to 1.5 turns to make it run a little richer in hope to bring the exhaust temp down a little. This is a great carburetor for the money.

Do Not Buy For Coolster 125
I saw another review with a similar bike with the same issue. It’s like the carb does not want to be tuned. The carb will idle fine but as soon as you give it the smallest amount of throttle it will bog, after trying to tune it for hours it still won’t work right. And the elbow will not fit onto the Coolster m-125 motor intake. You will have to use the original elbow that came with the bike and the original carburetor. The hoses that came with the carburetor are not good quality at all. The slide and outside quality of the carb does seem good and look good. No leaks, but would definitely recommend going with a higher quality carb something like nibbi.

Quality Control?
I ordered two of these. Initially the packaging for the two looked identical. After opening the boxes i noticed it had two different branded spark plugs sent, ok no problem. The main and most frustrating issue though is that one came with sufficient hardware to mount the carburetor on the motorcycle and the other one shipped with shorter bolts. I'm unable to install the second carburetor. The first carburetor is working great though. Runs really well. I did have to make a couple small adjustments. I had to adjust the float in the bowl as it was initially allowing too much fuel in and overflowing. After that, a couple turns on the idle set screw and it was good to go. I was looking for a way to contact the seller to remedy the problem with the other carburetor without returning the whole thing but was unable to find an easy way to do that. I would have given this item five stars had i not had the issue with the hardware.

Papa is their hero!
My grandkids dirt bike died and I could not get it running. I had diagnosed that the problem was with the carburetor. The swap from the old carburetor to the new one was quick and easy and in no time the bike was running again.
