Tiger Claw Black Light Weight Karate Uniform Size 7

I bought this uniform not knowing how big or how small but read previous reviews on sizing and I am 6'2 and 220 pounds. I saw that someone posted they were about 5'9 and got the size 6 so I went one size up and the 7 is big but I would prefer to have the extra room, however, I would have been just fine with the 6. I am planning to use it as a costume but I certain that because of the quality and the comfort, I will use it further down the line. The size 7 pants are long even for someone with my height but I just pulled them up a bit. Definitely worth the money. I would say that the description says it comes with a white belt but there was no belt included. It is not an issue because I purchased a read belt separately but if someone is expecting the belt then you should be cautious in case you want to wear the top right away.

I ordered this uniform as a second gi for my son to wear to karate class. The first one was purchased as part of a package when he started. This uniform is very light weight, and the fabric gets softer with each wash. His other uniform is still very stiff and uncomfortable. The price can't be beat, either. I would have paid much more if I had purchased one through the karate school. Great product!

I'm black belt 3rd dan. This uniform it's awesome. Made from a great material, useful for non grappling styles.Just find a good size table for avoiding any size issues.

Very nice uniform for the weight and price. Runs a bit on the long size. Might want to consider buying a size down. It is a 50/50 cotton poly blend, so don't expect much shrinkage...if any.

I am not a fat guy, but I am a big guy. The waistband on this gi was way too tight. A size 7 out to have a little more room in it. The elastic in the waistband shrunk the waist to the size of my thigh. It has a drawstring in it, not sure why they would choose to put that very tight elastic in it.

The Gi is definitely heavy on the polyester, but for the price I was expecting that. The issue for me was mostly on size. I have been practicing Martial Arts for 15 years and have owned many Gis. I tend to wear between a 6 and a 7 comfortably. I figured I'd order a 7 and if it was more like a 6 I'd still be fine. But this was closer to a 5. I could barely get my legs in it, let alone throw any kind of a kick. I cannot speak to the quality of the Gi in practice because I immediately returned it. I gave it 3 stars because it did arrive on time and is what was described, however the size discrepancy from industry standards is awful. Someone PLEASE tell Tiger Claw that if they matched their sizes to Juka, or Pro Force or whomever, they'd probably do better in sales.

I like the cloth. It is high qualitiy and does not shrink as much as pure cotton, yet it is breathable. It is stong too. The actual gee is well made and will give me many hours of use. Even in fighting. Thanks. J Wong

The reviews and the price had me expecting a flimsy, cheap gi, but it turned out to be a nice, thick, very dark black material and quality stitching. A great bargain.
