Woputne Desk Reading Lamp with Dual USB, Dimmable Eye-Caring, 1400LM, Black

Bought a pair of these desk lamps as most "bedside table" lamps fill up most of the table! This is a fantastic product for the price. The build quality is excellent, the metal base is weighty and you just slot that the metal plate onto the other part and plug in the power cable to assemble it. The flexible neck holds its position well and has a matt metal appearance (matches the bed frame well). It looks like it's worth more than it costs. Features: > It says "stepless dimming", that's not quite true, but as you'll see in my video there's 20 different brightness levels so as you increase/decrease the brightness the change is very gradual and almost appears stepless. > 5 different colour modes: cooler, warmer and mixtures of different lighting depending on what you want (reading, or just something more cosy). > Night light, not as relevant for me (my bed is by the door), but if you have a very dark room and need a "guiding light" to make it easier to find your way back to the bed without disturbing others in the middle of the night, there's a little light that faces out to the left that's just enough to illuminate the table. Manufacturers: it might be better if this faced the front for symmetry as if you have a double bed, one faces the bed, the other faces away - but that's the only improvement I can see that can be made. > The light coming out the top is a nice addition to illuminate the wall. > The USB charging isn't rapid as it's only 5V/2A - but with USB-A and USB-C it's more more than enough for charging a phone/watch overnight, it's great to have both options. There's also a tiny green LED on the top to show it's powered on, it's visible from above, but when you're lying down in bed you can't really see it, so don't worry about the brightness of it in the video. Above all I'm super happy with this, some items on Amazon don't live up to expectations, but this exceeds them!

I had been eyeing a clip-on desk lamp for a while but was hesitant due to mixed reviews. However, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Woputne Desk Lamp Clip Light, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. At £9.99, the quality and build of this lamp are impressive. It's well-made, sturdy, and feels robust. The clamp is secure and easy to move, making it ideal for various setups. The neck is flexible yet holds its shape perfectly, which is great for directing light exactly where it's needed. The light itself is bright and adjustable, with different modes to switch from white light to warm light. It's perfect as a bedside lamp, but my mum uses it mostly for her jigsaw puzzles in the living room. The lamp brightens up a dark corner, making it easier for her to see the pieces. I've also used it for laptop repairs, and the adjustable neck allows me to position the light in the most awkward spots. The USB-powered feature is very convenient, allowing you to plug it into a charger or any USB-compatible device. After six months of use, the lamp is still working perfectly. I'm absolutely delighted with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile and reliable desk lamp.

Bought to go on a hot desk at work as the desk is situated in an area where the main lights are on PIR so if no one is walking about it plunges into darkness! Nice light, sturdy and dimmable. Seems to work well.

I love this lamp. It has a cool, modern design and as well as variable brightness, it has variable tone, a nightlight and a timer (useful if you're using it as a bedside lamp).

If you've recently started working from home, or want to start using a webcam to video-call friends from your desktop PC, proper lighting will go a long way. I always put off buying a webcam in the past. No matter what I tried, I could never seem to get the picture to look right. My friends all had perfectly lit faces in their video calls, making their skin look all glowy and with no akward shadows... and I just didn't understand how. I had two massive windows in my office, so it definately wasn't lack of light that was the problem. A few google searches/youtube videos later, and the reason became clear. Apparently it's not the 'amount' of lighting that's the problem, but the direction of it. If you're back-lit by a window, have lights only above you or to the side, then you'll end up looking pretty shit no matter what you do (unless you're a goddess who just looks amazing from every angle... if so, lucky you). One option is to move your desk so it's directly facing a window, but this isn't always an option (depending on power points and wall space). Not to mention having the sun shining in your eyes all day probably isn't a great idea. I did move my desk to a slightly better position, which helped somewhat, but what really made a dramatic difference was this little light. I clipped it onto the back of my desk, directly behind my web-cam so that it was just sticking up over the top of my screen... and wow. I couldn't believe the difference. It lit up my face evenly and made my skin look all glowy, and on the right setting, the light looks just like daylight. For such a cheap and convinient thing, it makes a huge difference. Rather than avoiding using my webcam, I now actually want to find excuses to use it. It has a USB power cord which I personally use to power the light, or you can plug the USB into one of those converters to use it off mains. It's tiltable, and you can easily change the intensity and temperature of the light, to better adapt to the current lighting conditions in your room. All in all, money well spent. I've only had it for a week or so now so can't comment on its sturdiness, but it seems solid enough to me and not cheaply made.

Absolutely brilliant. I build models in the evenings after work, my partner likes to have the big light off so it can be hard to see what I’m doing. This is perfect. Gets plenty bright and is dimmable to a very low level. It’s also directional enough that it doesn’t disturb her, but gives a big enough light spot that I don’t feel constrained under a spotlight. The colour temp options are really handy for painting, you can check how your paint job will look under different conditions. Can’t beat this for a tenner!

This is an awesome light - the clip is sturdy and strong, the neck is flexible and robust, and the different colour tones and brightness options are fantastic. There is a built in "delayed off" function which allows you to leave the desk with a "get you home" style illumination that then powers off. The controls are good quality and I am really please with my purchase.

I have mixed feelings about the lamp. On one hand, it has a nice function to opt between warm and cool light and different brightness. It's easy to turn on and off and definitely functions as a lamp. I use this for manicures and find that the lamp can be unbalanced and topple over if you haven't balanced the gooseneck part of it correctly - I would say it could have been more sturdy if it was weighted better. It looks good but it also can get quite hot after an hour or so of use.

i bought this ring light so i could have better lighting for drawing/recording my art. so far, i'm very happy with the quality! it's super user-friendly, light weight, and i appreciate the different light settings it comes with because it gives me more control over what looks best with different art pieces. i like the clamp - it's very strong but has a soft material on the inside of the clamp, so i'm not worried about it damaging my desk. also, it only takes up a small portion of space - way better than a ring light with a stand (at least for my needs). more importantly, the lighting from this ring light is super even, makes my art pop, and i just wish i would have bought this years ago! it does get a little warm after use, but nothing too warm to touch. overall (and especially for the price), this ring light is a major upgrade to my art setup and i highly recommend it! it's great for taking video, pictures, and creates a pleasant, even lighting for making art.

This is my I don't even know how many beside lamp. I use for reading and to light my room when needed. I also use it to tweeze my eyebrows and like a certain light setting not to irritate my eyes while doing so. It is strurdier than my last few which is great as the last one kept falling off my cabinet when I would set it back on my nightstand (like it was top heavy) but this one is easier to manoeuvre and the fact you can put it in different positions to make it easier to use is wonderful, it has a little nightlight, timer and button to pick whichever lighting type you want.

Ganz fixe Lieferung, einfach anzuklemmen (große Klemme ermöglicht auch gut das anbringen an breiteren Dingen, ich hab es am Regal überm Bett angebracht). Lichteinstellungen super einfach anzupassen, mach schönes warmes, aber auch sehr helles Licht, gibt viele Helligkeitsstufen. Super als Leselampe, kann ich nur empfehlen. Einziges Manko wie ich finde.. sie hat keinen normalen Steckdosenstecker sondern nur einen USB Anschluss. Kann sein, dass ich dies beim Kauf überlesen habe, muss nun jedenfalls erstmal noch nen Stecker kaufen. Ein normaler Stecker hätte es auch getan, finde ich..

Fast easy purchase. Well packaged. Product is well made and looks great on the desk. Easy to use and the light options are very good.
