My sweet, sweet savior!
TL;DR: It's sweet enough and there's really no aftertaste. It's natural vs. some chemical concoction. It's powdery and works well in almost everything and finally, it just tastes good! I highly recommend it. ____ I'm trying to change my dietary lifestyle. Sugar is really bad, plain and simple but makes almost everything taste good/better. Diabetes runs in my family. I really don't want to go there, but I'm also an "I want to live my life" kinda guy. I don't want to eat grass and nuts because I'm scared to eat what I really want like ice cream, cake, candy, pie, etc. (all the sweets!). I absolutely detest the aftertaste of pretty much every non-calorie/low-calorie sweetener and I'm terrified of the chemical ones. When I heard of Allulose, I begrudgingly tried it because most people claim that it tastes good and has no aftertaste, but when Stevia came out everyone was like "ohh it tastes good, etc.", it doesn't!! I was so delightfully surprised. While it is a bit less sweet in comparison to regular sugar and way less sweet vs. some of the keto/diabetes friendly stuff (monk fruit, stevia, etc.), not having any aftertaste for me means the world. It's also powdery vs. granular so it mixes into things wonderfully. So far I've made ice cream, egg custard/pudding/flan and cheesecake with it and they are all delicious. There are 2.5 cons so far, first of all, it's expensive compared to regular sugar but worth it for better health imho. The second thing is (and this is a crappy one, lol) that if you are heavy handed with it and end up using 'too much' at once or consuming over a given amount for a certain time period (based on your body), just stay home or at least prepare for repeated potty visits. I heaped 2 tablespoons into a 24oz cup of coffee frappe I made and had to use the bathroom about 4 times within ~12 hours but your mileage may vary and this may not happen to you. Suffice it to say, 5g is a normal serving and 54g per day is supposed to be trouble free at normal body weight. I'm a big guy and it totally blindsided me as I figured I could manage more than just 30g. Finally, the .5 is, while it's natural, it's still so new (to market as of only ~2015) that we really don't know if it's doing something funky inside of us. We know what all the sugars do and are capable of as we've been eating it forever. The short term results do seem to outweigh the potential long term 'issues' though, at least for the time being. I highly recommend it.

The Good Stuff!
This is the good stuff! I prefer Truvia to other stevia products because it is a natural sweetener with a clean flavor and no aftertaste. Other stevia products I have tried have a strange lingering aftertaste that I canโt get used to. Other sugar substitutes have a chemical-ly flavor. Not true for Truvia! It is very sweet and clean flavored. It dissolves nicely, itโs easy to measure and it doesnโt spike my blood sugar like regular sugar does. I have bought this in the jar but this refill is great to refill the Truvia jar or to fill your preferred container. And the price for the refill makes it a good value, too!

Expensive but worth it
Great sugar substitute. I used it in my coffee, tea, and oatmeal. It has a different taste but closes matches sugar enough for me to continue using it. I'll try to transition to using it with other products. It kind of expensive but worth it.

Great sugar alternative
Very disappointed! Upon opening the unsealed package, I was hit with an unpleasant odor. It reeks of bacteria of some sort. It taste fine but I can't eat this. Quality is unacceptable. October 2025-I am changing my review. My first order as I said smelled awful. I ordered it again and it was great. It must have been a fluke. Maybe something died inside the package or somehow bacteria contaminated the product. First time buyer and considering the alternatives, I am very happy after all! Thankfully there are alternatives to sugar, high fructose corn syrup, glucose, dextrose, maltodextrin that will spike sugar levels in blood and I can still enjoy my sweets and does not cause cavities! Also, please lower the price.

Great for baking
Truvia gainuals are great for baking, but became full in the measuring, because truvia is much sweeter than sugar.

Trivia is my go-to sweetener.
Trivia does not have that slightly bitter aftertaste some other stevia products have, in my place of residence is a little more economical than others and, most importantly, is a healthier option than other sweeteners like cane sugar.
