Love this product.
The birds love this product. It even attracts birds that we don’t want. They come in flocks. We have woodpeckers that especially love this product. I place it in a square cage and they rest on the cage and peck away. It is a main staple for our wild birds.

Do not buy
I recently purchased this suet cake after, unfortunately, misreading the info. I thought I was getting 11 3/4oz cakes, not 1 113/4 oz cake. The price is very expensive!! That is what confused me. There is NO WAY one is these cakes would cost $10.99 and the sale price of $3.39 is still triple what you would pay in a garden or home store. And to top it all off, I hung it this morning and it is melting. Or I should say pouring down the window. I have never had this happen before. Boy am I kicking myself for this purchase. I have always found Amazon to be cheaper than anywhere else on most items but not in this case.

Great Price. Birds in mt neighborhood love them.
I recently picked up a hanging cage that holds these blocks of bird food. I hung it under a tree branch (lowest branch on the tree, about 5 feet off the ground). Well, I have a 3-foot high fence about 5 feet away from it and it was so funny watching the birds literally line up and take turns (1 or 2 at a time) to snack. My daughter is studying birds and the feeder is about 12 feet from our window. We've seen about a dozen different kinds of birds use the feeder with these Berry suets in them. The berry ones seem more popular than the non-berry ones, if it is guaged by how fast they are eaten. In the height of summer, one would last a little over 2 days. Now in the Fall, they last 4-5 days. Bottom line, birds like them and they are not very expensive on amazon.

Birds go nuts for this seed! ;)
My birds love this seed! I reorder this over and over. Sparrows, juncos, etc., go nuts (excuse the pun) for this stuff. The price is excellent. Just put in the fridge for about an hour and it is very easy to drop right into the feeder. There is no mess on your porch either.
