The Amazing Two Potato Clock

I bought this to show transformation of energy to my 8th graders. I hooked it up in front of the class right at the beginning of the unit and had the kids hooked. They really wanted to know how that works. Thank you for a great experience!

We bought this clock for our 4th grader to use as part of a science project. It is cheaply constructed and the clock piece does not fit nicely as pictured - it hangs down in the front by the wires. Having said that - it does work as stated. We have two potatoes that have been keeping time for a week. Too bad it is so over-priced for what it is.

I used it for a college presentation and it worked great, it doesnt keep real accurate time, I lost maybe a minute over a 24 hour period, but it could have been the potatoes. Also works with lots of other vegetables and fruits.

This is a wonderful scientific toy! I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old granddaughter. She had this on her "wish list" because she hear about it in the National Geographics. The only thing she doesn't like about it is the potatoes will rot! (lol)

I purchased one of these for my grandson several months ago and now I have received hints that this would bea great gift for some other young boys!

Great product used as a school fair. Durable and performed better than expected.Recommended for purchase.You can use fruit or potatoes works equally well.

We really like this clock, but when we received it, there were no directions. It makes for a great science fair project.
