The crows noticed it immediately. The package has recommended patterns for crow calls. I recommend you practice them for better results. I tried without using the patterns at first. The birds looked at me a little stunned and flew off. But using patterns, they had longer conversations with me. It will fit in a pocket. The resin plastic horn seems very durable but the reed area is less so. Super eady and fun. Try it. The kids will love it. It sounds a bit like a party horn (like the ones at New Years parties, but for ... crows).

Sounds odd but it works

This call does exactly what it’s supposed to—got turkeys gobbling and crows crowing. The sound is loud, sharp, and carries really well, which makes it perfect for locating birds from a distance. It’s super easy to use right out of the package and doesn’t take much practice to get realistic tones. I’ve had birds shock gobble almost immediately after hitting a few calls, especially early in the morning. It’s also consistent—no weird squeaks or struggling to get sound like some cheaper calls. Small, reliable, and does its job every time. Definitely worth keeping in your vest.

This one is better sounding than the “Power Crow”. It does take practice to get it right, as with any device. I have successfully called in a crow that at one time only visited the backyard occasionally. After learning what they like to eat and how they behave on YouTube. I decided to take it to the next level with learning how to call them. I was excited (after practicing quite a bit) to finally communicate with a distant crow. Then hearing its return calls getting closer until it appeared over head. Circling a few times and apparently perching in a nearby tree. Waiting for me to LEAVE. LOL So that it could more comfortably consume the treats I had already placed outside. At the price point I think it’s a good buy. I have not tried the more expensive models, I suspect they may work better or with less practice. Invest ten to twenty minutes as the instructions indicate, seems to work well after that learning curve.

Do a quick read of crow calls prior to trying out the product. I made the mistake of taking the crow call device out of the package and then using it in my backyard. I blew a few random calls and about 20 upset crows showed up. I subsequently decided to educate myself on crow calls and the device works brilliantly. I let the crows know that the backyard is my territory and the few birds that do occasionally show up quickly leave without complaining.

Was great at first. The seem of the mouth piece is coming apart. The reed inside came out cause of it and now it just does not sound the same. Maybe they all do this and i just dont know better. But i dont like how it now splits and pinches my cheek. It did work i was able to call in real crows. Now they run away. Before when it was new. Mine is less then a month old. But out the package did a great job and id recommend it.

I use this crow call to locate turkeys and does well, if the turkey are around they will answer. I tried it on crows in the neighborhood to only what I would call caused chaos on the local crows. They were flying everywhere as if one of them is in a fight with a hawk… who knows but with turkeys 100%

I have a small murder of crows i feed every day and this works great for calling them in. They go ham over it !

単に吹き込むだけだと「プァー」という玩具のラッパらしい音しか鳴らない。「う゛ー！う゛ー！」と発声する感じで吹きつつ、ベルを手のひらで覆ったり開いたり、指を突っ込んだりすることで音に変化が生まれる。音量は結構大きく、住宅地で常習的に鳴らしていると迷惑必至なので注意。 何よりも大事なのは地域のカラスの「言語」をよく観察すること。集まっているカラスを追い払ったり逆に引き寄せたり、練習次第では数十メートル先のカラスと挨拶を交わすこともできる。ただし、慣れても餌付けはしないように。
