I have used all of the components of this neat kit with a carrying case for grafting mango trees. However, I have not found the large tool to work very well unless you are grafting a 1/2 inch are larger diameter tree. Most grafting I do is smaller diameter than that. The few I tried using the tool did not take and that may be my skill not the fault of the tool design. It cuts a horseshoe shaped notch in both scion and rootstock so they click in together very tightly. That should be good if the scion and rootstock are exactly the same diameter with the same bark thickness, but I have not made it work with mango trees. Still a nice kit.

I used this to graft some budwood to my citrus tree and it works well. Great for a novice.

I bought this for grafting apples, pears and cherries. I didn't like the shape of the cuts made by the tool, so I returned this. I think it would work better if your scions are thicker than the thickness of a pencil.
