Unfortunately for me i chose the product without the ptfe tape for i think it was 20p which would have made the purchase an absolute bargain. however the product is all fitted and works great as an outside tap for my pressure washer to wash the car etc. good value and sturdy product

No problem tap.
A sturdy fixing and better than my previous one. Sealing the tap to the back plate requires a lot of PTFE tape on the thread to ensure the tap tightens in the vertical position, unless you can find a suitably sized washer, which I couldn’t, do do the same job.

Great value brass tap
What’s not to like. Apart from some thread tape, this tap replaced the original within 30 minutes and doesn’t leak. All components appear well machined / cast and represent great value.

Not what I thought I was ordering
I required a straight through the wall fixing as the photo of one I already have and failed to realise the tap fixing on offer had a 90 degree in front of wall connector, due to the angle of picture of the product on offer?

Simple to fit
Fitted as an outside tap fed by buried hosepipe. Looks the part and does the job.
