Great, inexpensive and fundamental equipment.
I absolutely love this equipment. I'm very wary of home exercise equipment because so much turns out to be a gimmick but this is great for doing basic exercises that can otherwise be difficult to do in the home. Although I try to stay relatively fit I've realized that I really need to work on pull ups and chinups. They are more difficult than you think and I'm having a great time building my strength. I wasn't expecting to get so much out of the dip station but its great as well. Hanging dips are a lot more challenging than with your feet resting on the floor or even a table. Same with the elevated pushup grips. That extra few inches above the floor allows me to get a much greater stretch and the results are great. I guess just as important to all of the above is the quality of the equipment. This seems to be rock solid after a fairly easy assembly. I say this after it arriving with several holes in the packaging and some pieces falling out as I moved it into my house. I expected to be missing hardware but luckily everything made it. I worry that some of the padding will wear early but nothing so far. At this price, this is a seriously great piece of equipment.

Nice addition to a home gym
This is a nice sturdy body weight exercise station. I got it after the doorway pull up bars keptneother ruining the paint on the doors or just didn’t work. The house is old and has very thick, ornate casing around the doors so most of the pull-up bars don’t work as they won’t fit over the top casing and the kind that go within the doorway using your weight to press outward to increase its holding strength don’t work on certain painted surfaces which doesn’t inspire confidence in repeatedly hanging my full weight from it (mainly an issue of pads slipping a little). So I felt that I needed to free up a little space in the room and get this “power tower” style pull up bar, with a bonus of being able to use for incline push-ups, chest dips, triceps dips, leg raise ab work and of course variations on the pull up like wide grip or one handed (not there yet lol) Anyway this has worked out great, pun not intended. The construction is mostly metal, it’s held together by large nuts and bolts and while it says it’s a two person job, I was able to complete construction on my own in about an hour give it take. It would have been nice to have had some help though at the beginning so definitely shoot for a partner build to skip awkwardly propping parts up to get them secured. Once the base is stable, the rest is easy. The cushions are comfortable to rest on and easy to wipe down. Very similar to the ones in the gym. The grips could be more padded but just invest in some padded workout gloves and that doesn’t matter so much. I was barely able to do 1 wide grip pull up when I started, and now I can do 3 sets of 5 with a 30 second test between. I’m not a super athletic guy but I already see a difference in my posture, and my back pain has lessened.since I don’t round my shoulders as much as I used to. Sometimes I just hang until I can’t anymore and that’s a nice stress reliever and gets the blood flowing. All in all a great product that I’ll have for years and hope to move to a dedicated workout space some day instead of just a corner in my office.

Sturdiness was a must for me and this is extremely stable
I want to build muscle. I am 200 lbs with a bit of gut. My worst was earlier this year at 225 lbs and most of my weight is reflected in my gut and I've struggled with losing weight there the most. I'm not one to have a strict diet and eat only healthy foods and I don't want to live that lifestyle. I want to enjoy nachos while watching football. But I generally eat less and walk the dog several miles per day to compensate for my eating habits. While the beer belly has gotten much better than what it was, I still have a lot of work to do on it. So after dong some reading, the overall consensus was if you build up muscle your body will lose more weight naturally simply by maintaining your muscle structure. That sounds good to me! But I'm not really into weight lifting, mainly because I'm not interested in going to gyms to use the equipment (typically busy or don't have the motivation to drive somewhere just to workout; personal peeve), nor do I want to invest hundreds into a home setup. I recently looked into ways to help build muscle naturally and all signs pointed to calisthenics. I do standard pushups, crunches, planking on occasion, but I wanted something that had various workout options to keep up the variety and provide more intensity if I wanted it. I researched several "power towers" and settled on this one. They all seemed fairly similar in design, but reviews were all over the place regarding durability, stability, etc. While this one has faired better than others on the stability aspect, there have still been some negative reviews on that. First impressions opening the box: everything was well packed. I didn't have any troubles layout out the pieces and getting to work on assembly. I was able to assemble the entire thing myself, but it took a couple hours. Mostly because I got ahead of myself a couple times and didn't orient a couple pieces correctly, so I had to redo it the right way. The instructions are very clear and I recommend following them exactly as described and make sure to pay close attention to the pictures and part references. Some of the bolts look very similar, just slightly longer or shorter. I would recommend having a few bins out and segregating the parts (bolts, nuts and washers) out and labeling them right away, instead of opening up the package little by little when you need something. Once assembled and I was finally able to use it, I am absolutely impressed with the stability of it. The only time it has a slight wobble is when using the dip bars. Otherwise, the thing doesn't move at all when using the other stations, including the pull up bar. It may wobble more with larger users, but at least in my experience at 200 lbs and 5'11" the unit supported me just fine. The only thing I will slight it for is the comfort of the dip bars. I'm not in the greatest shape, but they do hurt my hands right away when I position myself on them and I can't do more than 1 or 2 dips at a time. I'll probably add some extra padding there at some point. The rest of the stations have perfect comfort levels, including arm pads and a back pad for the leg lifts (my favorite part of the tower), and decent padding for the pull up bar to make it very comfortable. I'm glad I went for this one. You obviously have a lot of options here on Amazon and I always get overwhelmed with reviews, prices, brand comparisons, etc. etc. with practically everything on here, but this one was a homerun with no regrets.

Solid, if not spectacular pull-up bar
I'm 6'0 190lbs and this pull-up bar works pretty well for me. The grips that come with the bar are pretty bad, so I'd reccomend also investing in some athletic tape to tape up the bar and give you more stability and comfort while you pull / dip. The bar itself is very sturdy and I've never worried about it being able to hold my weight, but it can definitely be a bit unstable and start to tip if you pull up too fast. Putting a light sandbag on each side of the base would get rid of that problem, but it can be annoying if you don't have anything to put down. Initial assembly was pretty simple, and it's easy to disassemble for transport by removing the 6 screws that hold the whole thing together at the mid-section.

It's pretty decent built for the money, got it for my office so it works great. Not as stuedy as you machine at the gym, but it's usable for quick home workouts
