BIG boots that are the warmest I've ever purchased.
Long review; I hope it helps. First and foremost, warmest boots I've ever owned, period. Before I go into a bit more detail on that, let's talk size. You need to be aware that you will need AT LEAST one full size larger than what you normally wear. I would consider my feet normal width, but I wear size 14 in shoes and my previous boots. The pictures I've attached contain the winter boots I'm replacing (US14/33cm), as well as my everyday shoes (US14/32cm). This is to illustrate two things. One, these new Baffin Impact boots (US15/33cm) are gigantic! Hopefully the pics do justice. As anyone with large feet like mine can attest, "normal" size 14/15 shoes/boots, like those pictured here, usually dwarf most friends' and family's footwear. These Baffin boots are almost comical. All the people over the years who have told me I have clown shoes or skis, I can't wait for them to see these. When the box arrived, I wondered what the heck is that lol. Anyway... That's not a bad thing but I want to critically address some key points about these Baffin boots, at the size 15 which I bought. Some reviews have suggested, as well as, returned these boots because they were so big they could not drive with them on. This complaint is completely specific to the purchaser's vehicle. I drive a Ford Explorer and even with these giant boots, I have absolutely no issue driving with them on. Entering and exiting the vehicle is easy. No issues with physically moving from gas to brake, nor does pushing on one pedal impact the other. So I'd say buyer beware, but with my vehicle I have zero problems driving. Next, because they are so tall and so large in circumference around the neck of the boot, do not expect to fit snow pants over the top of these. Will not happen. My snow pants always have the two part design with the inner-most portion that goes inside boot, and the main pant leg going over the boot (the other normal sized, non-Baffin boots I show in the pics, this is easy and not an issue). Impossible with these Baffin boots. Snow pants must go inside the boot. They do have upper buckle fasteners, and the drawstring closure at the top can get snug, and stay snug, around your leg. However, I have NOT yet tried these boots in knee deep snow, so I cannot speak to their ability to limit snow from entering the boot. Lastly, regarding size, and emphasizing previous reviews about purchasing a larger size than typical, that is a must. Size 15 is snug. When wearing normal socks AND wool socks, I have zero wiggle room. By that I mean from heel to toe, and side to side, my foot is making contact with the inside of the boot. Not uncomfortable, or a deal breaker (although if they sold half sizes, 15.5, I would prefer those. That is only because I know that boots should always allow some extra room because that extra room is the best way to keep your feet warm inside winter boots. Again, they fit me. They do not hurt my feet. A couple times so far I've gone tubing at my local ski hill which required all day walking at an incline, often with slippery or uneven terrain. I did not have any pain or discomfort during or after activity as a result of wearing these boots. They are heavy. They have to be with the temperature rating and how big they are. Did they stop me from having fun each time, or cause issue? Absolutely not. I previously purchased some skin tight water shoes from Amazon (trust me there is a point to mentioning); they are size US13/32cm. When I purchased these Baffin boots, Amazon displayed a message for me that said based on your previous purchase, size 13 should fit. I read the reviews prior and most people mentioned the need to go a full size bigger than normal. Eventhough I usually wear 14/32cm-ish, I had the Amazon message about size 13 on my brain so I originally purchased these Baffin boots in size 14. I returned them as they required a very forced fit that hurt my feet. Size 15.5 would be preferable, but size 15 are fine, with zero issues. Deep breath, lastly, they are hands down the warmest boot I've ever owned. I previously mentioned wearing two pairs of socks with these boots. I have some minor circulation and nerve type issues in my feet and they usually get cold enough that even with good quality previously owned boots, they limit my fun and time outside. I will never wear two socks with these Baffin boots again! My feet were on fire and sweating even after all day on the ski slopes. Crazy warm. Love these boots.

Baffin Impact Snow Boots are an excellent buy - expecially through Amazon
I love my new men's size 11 Baffin Impact Snow Boots - they exceed my expectations. I bought them specifically to use in deep, drifted snow in sub-zero weather to feed horses. The nylon snow collar that pulls tight against my leg to keep deep snow from falling inside of the boots is well made. No question they will be warm enough. I tried them on in the house to see how they mold to my foot, and found them to be comfortable. I am impressed with the quality of the materials used to cover the padded/insulated lining, so expect a lot of wear time before the material starts to falter. The tread on the bottom concentrates my weight into contact points with the ice - increasing the pressure, so I don't expect to slip around on the ice as much. With only 2 buckles to tighten the boot around my leg/ankle, they are easy and fast to slip on and off. I wear a size 10 men's shoe, so ordered the size 10 snow boots originally, but found the boots to be a bit too tight. I ordered the next size up - size 11, and they fit perfect, so my recommendation is to buy the next size up, as the sizes tend to run small. But the most amazing "user experience" of this entire purchase is how easy and painless it was to exchange the size 10 boot for the size 11, and it cost me absolutely nothing to send them back. All I can say is that Amazon has incredible customer service. I let Amazon know I needed to exchange, printed the return UPS label and return authorization, and dropped the boots off at a UPS pickup location. My new boots were already on the way, even before I had the return label printed - it took only 4 days to get the new boots. I received them one day after I dropped off the size 10 boots at the UPS store. I give the boots and entire "user experience" 10 stars out of 5. The quality of the Baffin Impact Show boots exceeds what I expected to find, expecially for the price I paid through Amazon. I would buy these boots again, although I think they will outlast me. I expect to get many years of service from these boots.

A serious extreme cold-weather boot
This is almost exactly the same boot that the US Antarctic Program supplies to Antarctic workers (they buy the Baffin leather models and this is the nylon model). I work in Antarctica and bought these boots for the -30 to -95F winter temperatures at the South Pole. In order to wear any of your own equipment in Antarctica the Field Safety people have to approve it, and they had no problem approving these boots for the coldest conditions. I've tried both the leather and nylon versions and prefer this version because it is lighter and just as warm. Also, the leather models have to be laced while these have two large snap buckles that can be manipulated even with gloves or mittens. The snaps make getting them on and off much easier. The boots are very comfortable to walk or stand in because the air-cell insulation in the sole cushions your steps. The removable insulated liners can be taken out nightly to air out and can be washed to eliminate odors which are always a problem in cold-weather boots. The top of the boot is large enough to stuff insulated pants into. The piping around the main seam is reflective material which makes you more visible at night. These boots are very well made and after one season on the ice they are still like new. I have no complaints. When I go back to the antarctic these boots are definitely going with me. Be warned, these boots are BIG. Don't even think about driving a car while wearing them. But if you are going to be outside for long periods in moderately cold conditions (0 to -40F) your feet will stay warm all day in these boots. If you are in seriously cold conditions (-80F to -100F) they will keep your feet warm for several hours - which is as good or better than any boot you can buy. In summary - a top flight extreme cold weather boot used by the experts.

This boot is superbly constructed, but a little heavy
I spent a lot of time researching winter boots. #1 This boot is the best at keeping your feet warm, #2 Top notch quality liner that is removable, #3 very comfortable fit depending on getting the right size, #4 Very easy on / best to use a boot jack to take off all boots, #5 this is high boot with snow collar so you can walk through drifts and not get snow in your boots Questions: Weight: 3lbs each (6lbs total) for Size 10 Men's Height: Boot and liner top out at 15 iches. Plus 2 more inches for the Waterproof nylon snow collar. Size: My regular show size is 10. My Baffin Impact (M) Size 10 fit me comfortably "out of the box". I've read several reviews recommending sizing up. I would not recommend that based the size 10 boots I received today. I do not have a wide foot, though. Good for Snowmobiling: I think these would be great for snowmobiling Goof for Hiking: Yes, for limited distances (see weight) Well Constructed: Yes, very robustly made with quality in and outside Where it's made: "Engineered in Canada. Made in Myanmar" (formerly Burma). That's what the labels say in my boots.

Best hunting boot I ever had for cold weather
Best hunting boot I ever had for cold weather. I didn't have to take them off and put on my Ravenwear booties and bootblankets. I was not in extreme cold weather though and with sweaty feet I suspect they would have failed if I was in sub zero weather or had to walk farther (sweat more) but I stayed out dark to dark a few days in a row in single digit weather and a single pair of socks. Update While I still think these are the best boots I have ever worn for staying warm in the frozen tundra, the enormous size and wiggle room that is great for keeping my feet warm on stand did not make it easy to drag a deer out of the woods going up hill. The little extra space and enormous size became a big liability at that point. Walking to my stand at a slow pace to avoid alerting the forest to my presence they are fine. Walking back at the end of the day is ok too for the most part but my feet really sweat in these things. A good boot dryer is essential to make sure you start each morning with dry feet. If you have to drag a deer far consider bringing a regular summer weight combat boot or something. When your dragging a deer you will generate plenty heat that all your layers will probably get stuffed in your pack.

Warmest boots ever. Wearing these i can sit out ice fishing in well below 0 and be completely fine. They do take some getting used to. Feels like pillows on your feet

These boots are "sized" much tighter than usual, but are otherwise EXCELLENT (choose "size" accordingly)!
NOTE: So far, I've used these boots just once to shovel my Kansas City suburban house's double driveway and porch. I expect to be using them now and again during January and February (always for the same purpose); but, at this rate, I admittedly may never "break in" these boots maximally. So, take my following remarks accordingly. Now, this is essentially an excellent product in all the advertised respects. My, er, sole complaint is that I normally wear a "size 9.5-wide" shoe and (initially) ordered this product in a standard size 11 (because past experience with other boot products had indicated that a regular size 10 should fit me fine with ordinary socks, and I wanted to use THICK insulating socks with these winter boots). Unfortunately, these boots in standard "size 11" were WAY too tight for me. [Mind, I'm obviously speaking of using these boots WITH their preinstalled-albeit-removable liners in place; after all, why would you want to remove those vital components?] Hence, I returned those "size-11" specimens and ordered a second pair in "size 12." With merely moderately thicker-than-usual (Merino-wool) socks, the fit was perfect. [Mind, my feet are not only slightly wider than usual but also suffer from moderate neuropathy, i.e., downright "snugness" generally feels intolerably uncomfortable to me; hence, when I tried using EXTRA-thick (i.e., commonly available "insulating" wintertime socks), even the "size-12" version of this product felt a bit uncomfortably tight!] Hence, assuming you don't suffer from neuropathy AND if your feet are of "normal" width, you MIGHT be satisfied by ordering these boots just "ONE size larger" than your usual shoe size (but if you want to wear thicker-than-usual socks, you might want these boots about "one and a half (or perhaps even two) sizes larger" than your usual size. Bottom line, unless you're absolutely sure which size of these boots will satisfy you, you'd best order them from a vendor (e.g., Amazon) who -- if need be -- will routinely provide you with a "prepaid return-shipping" label, because paying for the return-shipping yourself would be very costly for these huge, weighty boots.

Hot!
I’ve owned these boots for two winter seasons. Only recently did I have the opportunity to test them in extreme conditions. I live in the Adirondack Mountains where temperatures regularly drop below zero in the winter especially in the evenings. Last weekend I spent the night in my tent where temperatures dropped to -27 Fahrenheit/-33 Celsius. Wearing 2 pairs of thick wool socks, I still woke up the next morning with very cold feet. More specifically it was how cold my feet were that woke me up. Uncomfortably cold. Typically if I wake up with cold feet and am outside for the remainder of the day, my feet never really warm up. (*Spoiler alert) This time, I slipped on my Baffins. I started off walking, then I began to run. I ran about a 1/2 mile in a couple inches of snow. By the time I returned to my camp, my feet were comfortably warm. Like sitting next to the fire warm. I didn’t know it was even possible to go from being freezing cold to comfortably warm, that fast, in those conditions. I’ve never owned a pair of extreme boots like these. I don’t go on expeditions to the poles and it’s fair to say I can’t even begin to appreciate how capable these boots are because I’ve never been there. And these are the last boots I’d recommend for running even a short distance given how bulky they are from being super insulated. However, that morning I experienced what they can do was enough for an average person like me. These boots are exceptional. If you simply need to stay warm regardless of how cold it is out there, this is the boot you want.
