SADLAK M14/M1A Front Rail, Aluminum Low Profile Rail

Didn’t want to go with magpul for our M1a, found this Picatinny rail that allowed us to keep the sling mount. Perfect! Now we me and my dad messed up buying a magpul 5 slot for a light mount and really regret it now. Sadlak industries is a bit exspensive, but you get why you pay for. The installation is a lot easier. Making it where you mount the screws from the inside of the frame instead of coming from the outside(magpul), not allowing the upper to sit flush. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ELSE FOR YOUR M1A

Ordered the Sadlak front rail and within three days i received the item, everything within the package was also in good order. It came with all the proper mounting washers, screws, materials and even written and visual instructions for installation. I own the Springfield M1a standard with a synthetic stock and I had to install this rail with a few extra considerations but overall when everything was said and done its a solid rail mounted on a solid firearm. you simply mount the rail over the existing sling swivel and use the supplied extended screws which replace the old ones to tighten in place. If you have a synthetic stock you must be mindful of the brass inserts that grant added strength to the structure, be careful not to compromise this feature or else you will be forced to rely solely on the plastic synthetic frame as your support. I'm Pleased with this purchase with the lightning fast processing and delivery of this item and i'll consider MSP company for future business.

Product Quality is top notch, Tight fit and easy install with no modification on my M1A socom 16 with synthetic stock. Definitely worth the money.

Definitely a sturdy mount and the design is good. Tried to do what I could to not modify the stock but ended up counter-sinking the inside of the stock. I drilled out the rivets to allow for the screws to pass through and to keep the structural support of the stock. Looks great and is very sturdy. Definitely a good option given the lack of other options for a bipod mount for the M1a.

I bought this adapter to mount a bipod on my Springfield M1A. Followed the directions exactly and it didn't fit my stock. The contour of the bevel on the stock side of the mount does not match my rifle stock. This creates a massive gap between the mouth and the rifle stock. See attached photos. This is not just unsightly but dangerous and potentially damaging. Returning for a refund but I already drilled out my front sling mount so now I have to fix that too.

Happy with the product but it took way too long to get here.

Works great on a Springfield M1a scout squad. I mounted it on a synthetic black stock. No filing or alterations required.
