Well these tablets taste intensely sweet. There is no possiblity that any of the orginal flavor might be detected. They chew with vigours crunching noises. The directions don't say anything about taking it with food but I think it was faintly better with food than an empty stomach. On the whole the experience was like eating candy. But you gotta be careful about how they work. Like any fiber you need to get used to taking it and in the interim you will experience gas and bloating. It's been ten days since I started and the gas hasn't gone away. The tablets seem to take about 24-48 hours before I could perceive any effect. I don't perceive ANY softening of the stools. They seem to be as hardened as ever no matter how much water I drink before, during or after. . However the amazing amounts of gas produced propels the pellets out as if from an air gun. You should not allow any adolescents anywhere near you. You will instantly aquire a neighborhood wide reputation for setting the longest fart record *ever*. The gases do coincide with the number of intervals between doses so pellets are expelled with projectile force at regular intervals during the day. While the results may seem unimpressive apparently they add up and I no longer experience blockages. 5 stars normally but extra stars because your kids will regard you with new respect.

Benefiber chewable probiotic fiber supplement which I take three times a day. It helps with constipation and keeps you regular. It was well worth the price and I'm very happy with them.

Flavor on these is addictive for me... But I can’t help but feel these aren’t worth the money. Reason being: it’s not much Fiber... You get a measly couple of grams per dosage and are advised to not exceed 6 per day (3 doses). And I wouldn’t advise it either, it will lead to gas cramps: So you’re left with roundabout 6g of Extra fiber daily when most of us need to surmount that 24g number that doctors suggest... it’s not very helpful... And in addition to that, it comes at a steep cost! Truth is, you can buy dried/ground fiber sources for cheaper than this supplement costs per gram of fiber... I.e: Veggies, Nuts, Beans, Flax Seed, Chia seed, or even just Fruit will give you more fiber per $1 spent. Just choose a fibrous food you enjoy and eat it regularly if possible. This isn’t a good solution, not for me anyway.

I grew tired of the brand name gummies I had been taking for years and switched to these about 2 weeks ago. I love them! I enjoy chewing them because they taste good and aren’t so sticky (I have TMJ/bite/jaw issues). I much prefer these and they work very well to keep me regular. I’ve converted to these now and got a subscription for them.
