Worth every penny
I’ve worn this for years…I have very sensitive, oily to dry skin. Everyone always tells me how well-blended and natural my makeup looks because it’s so smooth. I personally have to lightly re-powder if I’m wearing it for more than 3-4 hours, but it doesn’t cake when I do and lasts longer than others have. My skin looks nearly flawless as it covers the bags and fun stuff that comes with aging, or if I break out and need to cover some redness. You really don’t need a lot, and it’s super easy to use it as a light, quick go to or if you want to go heavy handed for a more dramatic look. Well, well, worth the price imo.

Good for oily skin and not too heavy
I've been using Tarte clay foundation for a while as I have oily skin and makeup slides right off. I mean, right off, doesn't last an hour! So I need things made for heavy oil (but I'm in my 50s and my wrinkles are minimal so, yay for the oily folks). I switched to Mac studio fix because I had used it long ago and remembered I liked it and its a lighter feeling that Tarte. It goes on smooth and stays on longer than anything -- probably equivalent to Tarte. It's not heavy though, so it doesn't feel like a mask. BUT I decided I wanted to go even lighter and switched to tinted moisturizer (neutrogena), So I'm trying that for a while. When I want something more substantial I'll be using my Studio Fix.
