I’ve been using mensural cups for about 4 years now! I made the switch because I was having trouble with tampons making me sore and itchy and I’ve never really been a fan of sanitary pads as they make me feel like I’m wearing a nappy! I can honestly say it’s the best thing I ever did. Not only has it improved my comfort, it’s also saved me a bunch of money!! Once you get the hang of inserting the cup it’s becomes so easy to use! I have been using a menstrual cup I got from a drugstore and thought it was time for an upgrade. I bought the pixie cup starter kit because I really wanted all the essentials and I must say the set is perfect. The 2 cups of different sizes are great because I can change them depending on how heavy my flow is and the sterilising container is so handy and discreet! I haven’t needed to use the lube but it’s a great thing to have especially if you’re starting out. The set also comes with a wash and tonnes of handy wipes! Overall this is a great starter kit and just a great kit in general for anyone using or wanting to switch to a mensural cup

I brought this kit alongside the steriliser so that I could make the switch to sustainable menstrual products and it contains everything I needed to make the transition. I was really impressed that it came with a full sized lubricant and cup cleaner (I anticipated that they would be smaller travel sizes) and it also came with 25 wipes which is basically a full pack. Having the two cups was also very useful as they’re different sizes and then you can have two on the go at a time meaning that they can be properly cleaned and sterilised in between uses. I personally didn’t want to use the microwaveable steriliser, so as I mentioned I brought the pixie cup steamer/steriliser separately. The cups themselves are amazing quality, they’re very soft so they’re easy to insert and once in they can’t be felt. It took me a couple of tries to insert it properly but I quickly got the hang of it. The only advice I’d give to people looking to use menstrual cups is to buy some interdental brushes to clean the air holes. Would 100% recommend this product to anyone!

Going back to using cups ahead of a holiday and wanted to try a different brand as had not had very comfortable experiences in the past. This kit is amazing and incredible value: in addition to a discreet and spacious bag to carry everything it comes with two sizes of cup, little bags for each one, a little pot for sterilising, as well as accessories like a wash, lube, wipes… The cups are really comfortable to wear once you get used to them - much softer than the brand I had previously used. I appreciated the ability to move to a larger size as needed. Most importantly: not a single leak!!

Absolute game changer. Easy to insert and remove. Can't feel it when it's in and no leakage. This cup is incredible and makes being on your period so much easier. 100% recommend!

Takes some getting use to, but I prefer these to tampons. they can leak especially if used at night lying down then when you get up but very comfortable and can use all day, easy to clean and better for the environment

I absolutely love using the cup and could not fault this product at all. It honestly didn’t even feel like i was having a period, i used to use pads which could irritate the skin after a few days, feel like you have a nappy on or even smell sometimes but you have none of that with the cup! The Pixie Cup Stater kit has been a perfect product for transferring to the Cup, it has everything you need in there. I know £45-£50 may seem like a lot to fork out just for your periods but think long term, these last years, you wont have to buy pads/tampons and are soo much better for the environment! I don’t work for Pixie Cup’s company haha, may seem like it since i am pretty much trying to sell you the product, it’s just that i have loved it so much, i would recommend it to every woman.

The product is of great quality, and what you get for the price (lube, wash, 2x cups, bag, wipes, instructions, cup to clean, 2x small bags for travel with bag), is really good as well! This was the first time I purchased a period cup. Unfortunately, my cervix is really high, so I struggled a lot when trying to remove the cup. Personally, I couldn't get comfortable with the removing process, so I had to reach out for a refund. Customer service was quick to help out, understanding, and got things sorted, which I really appreciated. Overall, the product and service are fantastic, even if the product didn't work out for me as I had hoped. If you like using cups though, I would definitely recommend this set!

**After contacting the company, they have been amazing, they have offered for me to try the disc for free. The customer service has been excellent, I cannot fault them. I love the kit, it’s perfect sized, the wash and lube is perfect for on the go, I however encountered issues with the two times I used this, the first using the smaller cup, the toggle on the end is NOT long enough to grab, not to get hold of any of the thing if you have any kind of wrist issues, I somehow managed to get the smaller size out the first time, but not after what felt like a battle with myself and my cervix. I read countless websites in breaking the seal, making sure I was in all the positions under the sun and I ended up looking like an extra from Kiss by the time I was done. Now I thought the sizing was wrong, so I tried the larger one in this kit this time round, OH BOY! This one landed me in urgent care seeing my gynae, who needed to deploy the forceps to remove the little sod. So, overall, the kit is excellent. I’m not sure if I’m not suited, but I’m definitely a little traumatised from the experience. With having carpal tunnel and various other chronic pain issues, I would say these can be a little tricky. I understand there is a way with them, I even got the Pixie tool, but somehow it was not budging. Maybe I’ll find use for the rest of the kit, but I’ll be unlikely to ever return to trying the cups out again, not after needing forceps to remove a stuck cup! .

This is a game changer. I don’t know why I haven’t bought this sooner. I have been saving so much money since I bought this kit, and my menstrual cycles are even better than before. I have endometriosis and tend to have the worst menstrual cycles to where I’m bleeding so much that I could pass out. I had to consistently buy pads and tampons to keep up with the excessive bleeding, and it was starting to become very expensive with the prices and how often I had to buy more. Just like any woman, I hated the feeling that I was on my period because of how uncomfortable it feels. when you use these menstrual cups they make you forget you are literally on your period until it’s time to clean it. This company literally provides how to videos and guides on how to insert the cup, how to know your menstrual cup size, and how to properly clean the cup. The kit itself comes with lubricant, soaps, and cute travel bags to put your menstrual stuff in. I will say it does get a little messy at the beginning because you’re trying to get the hang of it but once you’ve gotten it, it is a smooth breeze and very convenient. Be careful if you have nails because you can scratch yourself when trying to either put it in or take it out but overall it’s pretty easy. if the stem of the menstrual cup is irritating your lady parts I recommend cutting it. It makes it a lot easier and they have lines on the stem on where to trim and still make it easy to take out. The websites and guides are very informational and helpful, especially for new beginners who want to try to have a comfortable experience when on their period and they provide a lot of really cool accessories and products for the menstrual cup itself. I recommend wearing menstrual underwear when using these just to still be safe with leaks. The menstrual cup can leak if the cup is overflowed, put in incorrectly, or isn’t the correct size. Please review this brand’s guides and information they seriously help and give it a more easier experience. If you have a teen, I highly recommend getting this for them as well because they do make teen kits and could also help save your pockets too when bleeding x2.

Wow just wow. Iv been very apprehensive about trying the cup and im sad its taken me this long to get here. This Kit is amazing. I got it 1st try and im usually someone who feels my tampons always, but this cup I dont feel at all. Applicator made it so easy. Very well written instructions. So happy with this, glad to say goodbye to toxic tampons!!

I previously briefly tried a menstrual cup in the past. I tried Diva cup, and I thought it was just pretty uncomfortable. So, I went back to using tampons. I was sick of continuously buying tampons. I saw pixie cup on amazon while doing research, and I decided to give them a try. I wish I had started out with pixie cup to begin with! If I had, I would have stuck to using menstrual cups a LONG time ago. The small sized pixie cup was very comfortable to me. I have light periods, and I was able to leave the small information for a full 12 hours, and the cup still wasn't more than 1/4 of the way full. It is much easier to place this in the morning before work and then remove it and clean it while I shower than to deal with tampons. And, I usually have painful cramps with tampons. I felt like my cramps were less painful for some reason when using the pixie cup. Insertion is easy once you get the hang out it. It is less "gross" to handle the cups than you would think it is. It did not leak at all, including during strenuous exercise. The "large" that came with this kit was too large for me.. So I contacted customer service to ask for recommendations. I wanted to see if there was something smaller than the "small" to use on my lighter days, and use the small size for my "heavier" days since I do not bleed much. They recommended a different style of the cup, and they are sending it to me for free! AMAZING customer service and they really stand by their products. If you do not want to boil the cup to sanitize at the end of your period, they make a steamer sanitizer that is really easy to use as well that you can purchase separately. Overall, I think this is a great value considering all of the items it comes with. It is excellent for beginners. I would seriously give menstrual cups a try if you haven't already. So far, I am LOVING them compared to pads/tampons.
