I first learned on a DA polisher then I decided to try learning the rotary I've been practicing on my friends broken down Explorer the paint is pretty trashed I started on speed 2 just to learn on a rotary reacts which is completely different of that on a DA I Decided on the Maxshine and I can tell you im very happy with my purchase its built soild doesn't feel cheap its motor is quite and smooth in the pictures I used a compound with a orange cutting pad dialed to speed 2 as you can see the results are amazing and it was quick and super easy to get these results im telling you once you learn the rotary you'll never go back to a DA the price point on this polisher is reasonable for a well made soild performance.

Time will tell if it will last as long as some of the more expensive name brands but this is a great unit to get started on rotary with. Good size, good controllability, and plenty of power.

Definitely great quality compared to cheaper Rotary polishers. Big difference is that it's much quieter, feel very balanced and its light. The trigger is so much smoother as well as the speed progression. You can get the cheaper ones but you won't regret spending a little more to get a much better experience! Only wish they would include a pad so you could get started right away.

The machine works great for the DIY person. Not for everyday use for detailing. Unless its a backup

This polisher has became one of my favorites, by no means a professional but by no means am I a novice at polishing/buffing the weight and ease of movement give a perfect balance for use either if you are cutting or polishing, the polisher also has withstood many heavy paint corrections and has not skipped a beat I consider that awesome build quality 👍🏼

I would give this rotary 10 stars if I could. It’s worth every penny. Machine runs so smooth and is so quite, especially coming from a Harbor Freight rotary. My wife and I own and operate a part time detailing business. We mainly use the rotary on boats gel coats. I wish I would of purchased this machine months sooner. Paired with a wool pad and a heavy compound of your choice. This combo is incredible at removing 2000 grit sanding marks with ease. Machine never ran hot, and runs so smooth and quite. A must have when working on gel coat. ShineMaster knocked this one out of that park.

Just like another buyer stated. The box arrived with a broken seal. Paid for new but definitely not new. I gave it a benefit of a doubt if it runs good, I would keep it. After trying it out on the trunk of my car, the machine was very hot! It’s a no brainer that I will be returning the machine. I own the DA version and that one never runs hot.

I got this polisher in the middle of a project. It has taken everything I have thrown at it and never once got too hot, or given me any hiccups. Overall I think this is an awesome product!
