Does the pi / nano / etc go inside? Or is this just a really chunky display?

Just a really chunky display and not worth it AT ALL. I would opt for 10" and above. The image is stretched weird on it. After I tried it it just sits in a drawer collecting dust.

Hello , this display can work with mini computer , like Raspberry Pi , BB Black , Banana Pi . And it also can be regarded as a general touchscreen to work with PC. If you know how to make the time clock for a general touchscreen , it is a good choice for you .

How do you set the rpi resolution to 1024x600? It does not seem to be an option.

Hello , the resolution is 1024x600 for this display , and it is configurable by software up to 1920x1080 .
