Salter Eco Friendly Bamboo Kitchen Scale (11-Pound)

This scale appears great, and I even think it's the same one sold in stores (i've seen it at target). However, even with brand new batteries it displays "lo" indicating low battery. (I have tested the batteries with a multimeter, so I know they're good). This scale looks great on my counter but has not been very useful for me.

Well, this scale's description says 8.9 x 10.9. But it is not. The scale is 7 x 9. Scale is measuring accurate but very sensitive.You have to watch whenever you use that after finish your work, don't forget to close and see that it is close. I like wood flat platform. I bought this one because of 8.9 x 10.9 but it is 7 x 9. Because of the flat platform you can clean easily and it has light color. This scale doesn't have AA or AAA or 9 v batteries. It has 2 coin 2032 batteries. I don't know how long batteries will work. Batteries are included. Thank You !

Perfect size for any kitchen. Can actually be left out due to size. Accurate and attractive. Second purchase, Son used first one as cutting board. Do not recommend that ever.

All round excellent scale. Totally flat for large objects. Tare works well.Sixteen months later, scale is dead. This was my second one. I am moving on.

This scale never worked properly. The main issue was the difficulty switching from the different types of measurements such as grams, pounds, ounces etc. I didn’t use it very much at first and by the time I realized that it was working horribly, the return window had closed. I think this is very bad customer service when you have something that doesn’t work but you have a very limited time to return it.

I love this scale! It is elegant, thin and easy to use. Gave my daughters and daughter in law each one for Christmas.

Why would a kitchen scale be calibrated to weigh liquid volumes? It can't with any degree of accuracy because different liquids have different weights by volume. Scale is too sensitive and it turns itself on every time I open the drawer it is in. The main reason that I bought this scale was because the "Product Details" originally said it used two AAA batteries but it actually uses two CR2032 Lithium Batteries which is exactly what I wanted to avoid.
