Transaxle RS800P FAST

Easy to replace on my yard tractor. It is plastic but works great.

There are several numbers that use this transmission . You have to ask the distributor if a particular number will fit. The dealer only has one or two numbers that they can match up, the factory would not answer the phone. So the distributor gave me a number and I had to specifically ask if this number would fit.he looked it up up and said yes. The dealers cost was 700. He showed me the screen. The distributor want 1000. So I bought it on Amazon for 450. After u-tubing the video to change the transmission it took me 3 hours to do. Was not that hard. It has been working great .

I purchased a name brand $2000 riding lawnmower that was supposed to last for many years. Only to find out after a little over a season of cutting, northern WI so short seasons that it is not shifting from forward to reverse. Now the start of the 3rd season and the mower is useless and won't move at all. Finding out that every mower manufacturer that used these plastic transaxles has had issues with them. After reviewing all of there service videos and performing there suggested cleaning procedures figured out it's damaged beyond repair. Now the start of the 3rd season and my only option is to give this company another $500 to replace a defective product, that or spend another $2000 to replace the mower. I bite the bullet and order a factory new replacement because the grass is getting long. Today the new transaxle arrives " just in time to get cutting " the box is in perfect shape from the shipping company and I open it only to find out the replacement is damaged upon arrival. This leads me to believe that is was shipped from the factory damaged. Not only do they screw you on the original purchase they ship the $500 replacement damaged leaving me to wait even longer to get my riding lawnmower up and running.

The transmission fit perfectly. The throttle linkage connects with nut on threaded rod instead old version push nut. I just installed with no problems. I have only made a test run around my yard, but it feels strong. Its supposed to rain the next couple of days, so no good chance to thoroughly test right now.

The unit fit my Husqvarna YTA24V48 perfectly. It operates like new. The unit had some slight damage to the plastic case. I didn’t have time to send it back so I simply repaired it myself. It could use better packaging.

This lawn tractor transmission is a perfect replacement for my Sears Craftsman Pro lawn tractor. It was ordered and delivered to my door within 4 days! Installation was easy and fast. This new transmission made my tractor run much faster. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a new tractor transmssion.

The product was exactly what was stated.Worked fantastic the tractor is so much faster. It’s a shame that the major tractor retailer which begins with an (H). should do a recall for a bad transmission in stead of the consumer having to replace it when it goes bad.

The service from this vendor was exceptional. It came USPS with 2-day delivery. So why 4 stars instead of 5? I have to make one tiny complaint directed to the manufacturer, other than the fact my first gearbox died prematurely.. My original control linkage was secured by a press -on pal nut. This later version is secured by a 1/4-20 nut. I know, in this application, not any common nut will do. So, a trip to the hardware store for a 20 cent locking nut..... I would think the manufacturer could have sprung for that tiny item, which would have cost them less than a nickel.. Otherwise, the transaxle fit perfectly - 6 mounting bolts, brake spring, control linkage, frewheel lockout puller, drive belt, 2 wheels, and 1 neutral starter lockout switch connector later, I drove around the yard. I cannot testify as to the durability of this item; I only hope it lasts longer than the original one, which croaked at 104 hours. Zero stars for the original.
