I really like these boxes (I own two), and despite what the other reviews say, I've found this to be pretty sturdy. The material is a bit thin and you may not think it will hold up, but I use it every day (it holds my washi tape) and it does the trick.

My Washi tapes fit well and also glue sticks.

I was so excited to get this little box and, initially, very happy with it. Until I realized just how poorly made it is. The plastic is thin and cheap, the removable dividers do not stay in place, the three tiers don’t fit together well, larger Washi tape rolls won’t fit, and the latches on the sides come undone easily so my tapes slipped everywhere. I paid more, bought a heartier box, and now use this to store ribbon scraps I rarely use. As they say, you get what you pay for.

Super flimsy. Holds lots of tape.

It's not super sturdy so if you are storing something heavy like jewelry findings or other pieces of metal I don't know if I would trust it to hold. But I'm storing washi tape in it and it is working perfectly for that. The plastic is rather thin and you want to make sure you have the sides lined up really well when you are snapping it all back together. The snaps are just little pieces of plastic with a hole that goes over a little piece of plastic that stick out. I can't really say it "snaps" in place. But it does fit over the tab snuggly. The clear container does make it nice to find exactly what you are looking for, but again I wouldn't use it for anything heavy.

The different levels didn't fit together correctly and the removable partitions didn't fit in the box correctly after being moved, as if they had to be put in a certain way. This, however, was not specified as there was no way to tell how they (the partition pieces) were supposed to fit. The levels fit together a little better with the partitions removed but it still wasn't a tight fit. It's not worth the almost $18 it costs. You would think it would be of better quality for that price but sadly it wasn't. Sent it back and got a refund (which happened nice and quick via Amazon).

I'm using this to store Halloween makeup. I like that you can adjust the compartments by removing the dividers.
