I was holding out for Comic Sans (It speaks to my inner child) but this modern take on a sans serif family is reminiscent of a Bauhaus aesthetic and fits amazingly well into the overall decor of my kitchen. But functionality... where to begin? This clearly shows the state of the dishes. No more Schrodinger's Cat for THIS dishwasher. Now I can immediately know the state of the dishes without opening the dishwasher! This came with an easy to follow 350 page user guide in 14 languages, showing the cultural sensitivity inherent in this product. There is no escaping it, this is the best Clean|Dirty indicator I have ever seen. I am giving it only five stars because that is the top rating. Really this should get 5,000! My life's dreams have been fulfilled!

this has been a lifesaver for my roommate and i! it blends into the dishwasher so it doesn't draw attention, but it's easily visible whether it is a clean or dirty load. it sticks well and is a great value for the price.

Perfect . Kept forgetting if they were clean or not.

This works and is helpful as opposed to not having anything. But there are 2 drawbacks. One being a manufacturer concern and the other is all human error. Drawback 1: The black paint will start to rub off. Quickly. The outside of the dishwasher is dry, so this should not happen so quickly. But I can easily go over it with a sharpie or paint to fix it. Drawback 2: The whole purpose of having this is to let people in the house know whether the dishes are dirty ir clean, so this serves the purpose. However, it would be nice if it had a “running” option. This is the best design I’ve seen so far and that’s why I bought it. The reviews for the manual turning magnet with the 3 options show that the magnets are weak and the device breaks when dropped. We turn the dirty side up when the dishes are dirty and we turn it to clean once we turn the cycle on so that it can be emptied when the dishwasher turns off. There is an indicator light that shows when the dishes are done but people still open the dishwasher in the middle of a cycle. Sometimes this results in having to rewatch dishes that didn’t get cleaned or sometimes the dishwasher doesn’t start or finish. This is human error or shall I say “child” error. But it’s annoying for an OCD near freak organized adult that wishes this otherwise good magnet was a triangle with 3 options.

I've had one of these for many years and one day the magnet came off. I was going to superglue it but it disappeared (tossed, probably}. So I started my search for a new dishwasher magnet and, much to my delight, there was the exact match, same size and everything.! And for a very reasonable price so in the cart it went. Looks like it should last awhile and no one seemed to realize it was new and justed used it as usual. Perfect.

Handy! Who knew something so simple can make things a lot easier? Just attached it to our dishwasher and we no longer have to wonder or ask each other whether what’s in there or not. Having a baby, your mind is on a million other things so having this instead of having to remember if dishes are clean or dirty, goes such a long way. Only things is I got it at $2. When I was going to send the details to my friend who had asked me where I got the magnet from, the price had jumped to over $6! So if it’s that high, just wait and see if it goes down. I like this but I wouldn’t pay over 6 bucks for it.

This is a great little magnet to pop on the dishwasher and easily indicate to anyone else in the house if the dishes are clean or will need a clean! It's a good size, it's nice and clear, and the magnet sticks well. We've had it on our dishwasher for about a month at this point and it still looks perfect. That is to say, this is an inexpensive product but it's not cheaply made. Pleased with this little purchase!
