FYI, I am writing this long overdue review after using this moisturizing lotion for at least 6+ years now, so not a limited experience. I tried it after it was recommended by my dermatologist. In fact she hands out a list of her recommended products & this as well as the daytime CeraVe (it has sunblock in it) were on the list along with several expensive specialty options. I tried CeraVe PM & have never looked back after all this time! I really miss it on my skin if I'm ever w/out it. I love how light it feels yet moisturizing, not sticky, absorbs completely and quickly. It is light but very affective. I usually wear it as my daytime lotion as well as at night if I don't need the advantage of sunblock that is provided by their daytime moisturizing version. I really miss it on my skin whenever I’m without it. I love how lightweight and moisturizing it feels on my face—never sticky, it absorbs completely, and quickly. It’s lightweight but very effective. Also, it is reasonably priced. I like how it is available in drugstores , discount dept stores as well as online options- nice when I am on vacation & run short. For ref I am now 68 YO, had oily skin in younger years & now I'm a bit mixed but lean toward dry skin -especially living in our dry Co climate. It is the only lotion I use on my face & have been very happy ever since I switched from an expensive Clinique product that was way more $$ & started to not provide what I needed. Yes, I happily recommend it; many friends now use it, & now, even my husband too!

In the past I have used high end skincare products and wasted money. This is absolutely one of the best PM OIL-FREE facial moisturizers. This has helped my skin improve significantly over the last few months. Its super super light weight and pea size dots cover my entire face. I add a pea size to my cheeks, forehead and chin. It all soaks into my pores evenly without clogging them. Due to me using a serum by CeraVe as well. (Very important part of my personal skin-care routine) I have extremely sensitive skin and nearly break out with everything I use. However this helps being fragrance-free & OIL-FREE! Over the years I always thought high end brands were better than the lower cost friendly ones. (NOT THE CASE! At least for me.) I highly recommend this product for someone who is starting out using facial products or someone who has indulged in high end. This does WORK! And it leaves my skin feeling fresh and lightweight. I started seeing differences in my skin texture (for the good) within about a month after using it daily. I then backed off from it and use it every other day. Since I now have my skin where I need it to be.

I have alway used a moisturiser am and pm to protect my fair skin. I tried this product. It keeps my skin lovely and soft so I chose it for my skincare range.

I used the PM and AM from the same brand. A lot of improvement and does not caused bumps or pimples on my face. As a person who has acne and sensitive skin in general, it is a recommended!

With all the goodness it is a very gentle formula with no fragrance (fragrance is a major skin irritant found in many products meant for sensitive skin),doesn't feel oily at all,gets absorbed quickly to give a matte finish .But it works wonders on the skin.My skin feels plump ,rehydrated and restored I have dry,sensitive skin with seasonal acne ,seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea. Any kind of trigger ingredient is picked up by my skin in seconds and cerave is the only product thta has worked consistently at keeping of all my skin conditions for >2 years now.Will continue to use it forever. Moisturisers for sensitive i have used earlier cetaphil-- very basic ,does not work on very dry skin,ni high quality ingredients other than hyaluronic acid. Neutogena- no anti ageing ingredient,irriatated skin, did not work in winters (very dry skin),had to be reappiled again and again Body shop- full of fragrance Vichy aqualia thermale-- not very hydrating, major content is thermal water which is good individually but rest of the ingredients in the moisturiser are not great.Had to be applied again and again and irritated the skin La roche posay toleraine - very good moisturiser for flared up dry skin with rosacea but have to be careful with quantity as can cause blocked pores .Very good for healing but no anti-ageing and restorative ingrdients
