GX623 Youth ATV/Dirt Bike Helmet Combo - Retro Red, Large - DOT

Great, safe helmet! Fits my average sized 7 year old perfectly!! It’s very secure and seems to provide the protection all parents want for their kids!

I bought SIZE M For my 4 years old daughter, it was too tight, i was following the recomendation from other people on the reviews, i think maybe my daughter’s head is too big lol, i will return this one and order a size L instead, otherwise, i love the “graffiti” color beautiful and well made!! We can’t wait to receive the size L

Shopping for a potential lifesaving device for my kid was stressful. I wanted a quality helmet that fit a budget. This one I'm happy with. I kind of like the ratcheting chin strap but could do without since it's plastic. Would prefer a metal buckle like my others, however this type is easier for kids to adjust. Padding is great, goggles are decent, gloves are ehhh decent. We left sunshade off. Its flimsy but would work. As far as size. Use common sense if you measure toward upper end on chart just go next size up if you don't like it tight. I measured 2 kids and bought sizes correct per the chart and they fit prrfect

We love the colors on this helmet! She really stands out from the other riders and she always gets compliments on it. It's comfortable on her and fits snug enough that I'm not worried. I feel like she will also have plenty of room to grow. We ordered a med. based on the circumference of her head. She just turned 5 and I think we will be using this for awhile. ***The downside to this combo is the gloves are way to big for her.

I got this for my 8 year old son who is riding an electric motorcycle. I bought three other helmets and returned them before purchasing this one. I highly recommend it. The other three were all too big, I kept returning them in exchange for a smaller size that never actually seemed any smaller when they arrived. We started at a large (per the sizing instructions) and ended up with a small and I'm not sure if there was any difference between any of them other than the size sticker that was stuck on it. As an adult male I could still wear the small. Then I changed brands and bought this helmet and it was a night and day difference. This helmet actually ran true to the size chart and seemed like better quality as well. My only disappointment is that two of the three screws that hold the sun visor on, have come loose and fallen out even though I had the relatively tight. I'm still very pleased with this helmet. My 8 year old always wants to wear the gloves too and they always wear the goggles since they just stay attached to the helmet.

This was a great buy! I am very pleased! I wanted one for my granddaughter who is a toddler and rides with her dad. I thought small was the closest i would get to a good fit with her being so small. After reading reviews and small not being available I risked buying a medium. It fits perfect! A small would have been too small. She loves wearing it so I assume it is comfortable...hence 5 stars. You will not regret this purchase, it is well made, colors are vivid, goggles fit well. Not sure about gloves, I believe they are a little large, but that’s ok for down the road.

I purchased this helmet for my 8 year old son as a Christmas gift and he loves it. He has a 20 1/2 inch head circumference and per their sizing chart I ordered a large. It is a snug fit with some room to grow and the quick release strap works well and he is able to use it with ease. The quality seems fine, but I do not have any other DOT 3 helmets to compare it to. I did come across a few issues with the helmet. First, the screws which hold the visor onto the helmet were not tightened to the helmet itself and I did not realize this until after his first couple of rides and we ended up losing two screws. The middle visor screw mount on the visor broke which I am assuming was caused by the vibration of the loose mounting points. This brings me to my third issue with the helmet which is support. To date I have not been able to locate any way to contact GLX for support through Amazon which brought me to the review section. I never leave reviews, but am hoping that GLX will see this and reach out to me. I am going to leave a 3 star review at this point and if I do not receive a response from GLX before my return period expires I will review a star. If they reach out to me and are able to assist I will bump it up a bit depending on their response.
