These probably wouldn't work outside, but if you have indoor grow lights, they might be the only reasonable solution. I tried all kinds of solutions including bug-zapper lights, sprays, and pretty much anything else I could think of for years, and these strips are the ONLY one that made a difference. One warning, though - my cats do like to try and lick them. I doubt that's healthy, so if you place the, try do make then inaccessible for the kitties.

I really like these because they're easy to customize for exactly what I needed. Being able to cut them down to size made installation quick and gave me a much better fit than a one-size-fits-all product. They've held up well, stay in place, and do exactly what they're supposed to. Sometimes the simplest products end up being the most useful, and this is one of them. If you need something you can trim to fit your space without sacrificing performance, these are a great option. No odor, I give 4/5 stars because I wish they came in another color. They do grab the gnats with ease.

Love these Gideal sticky traps. They are so effective and easy to use. They go to work killing white flys right away. We wanted something that would be free of chemicals for our tomatoes and cucumbers.

Definitely the best fungus gnat catcher

I have bought these for years and they have always been great. This last time though, they seemed to have changed a few things. Instead of one large hole centered, there are now two small holes offset from center. Not a big deal except the trap hangs off center now. The large issue is how the paper peels off now. It used to be smooth, a single pull and the paper pulled off the sticky trap. Now, it gets stuck about 2" down from the top making you pull harder to get past that point. This leads to the sticky part leaning into your hand/arm and sticking to you or pulling it right off of the holes or the twist tie pulling off whatever it is hanging on to hold the trap up. I will buy these again as I have great experience with them. But if the next batch is the same, I am gone. A Note for other reviewers. Do not leave a bad review because you didn't catch fruit flies. You not understanding that fruit flies are attracted to smell, not color, is why you do not catch any. That is on you for not having a clue.

DO NOT LEAVE IN WIDE OPEN!!!! I failed to read reviews on this product because it’s a sticky trap, what much is there to review? So I didn’t see the previous horror stories of birds getting stuck in the traps. As I set the traps up I thought to myself “wow, these are VERY sticky, I have to do something to stop birds from getting stuck.” I set the traps up around 8 pm in my garden and by the next morning a bird was already stuck. I managed to get it off mostly unharmed but the trauma for both the bird and myself was already done. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find a safe way to use these where birds cannot get stuck. I feel so bad I didn’t take them down right away when I thought of it. They did work great for the bugs in the few hours I had them out, but until I find a way to save the birds, I won’t be using them. For the seller, I think you should add a warning of the harm these traps pose to birds in the product pictures on Amazon, or find a way to sell these with some kind of safety netting to put around the trap that won’t let birds get close. Just thoughts.
