I like that it worked really well. I used it to pour wine without having to uncork it. Pretty easy and cool. The wine will be preserved better and longer.

Yes, I think it's too expensive for what it is but five stars because it does work and function as promised.

I broke the original stinger that came with my device. I had always been frustrated by the rate the original poured. This replacement not only was easy to change but pours at a faster rate too. I would encourage anyone with similar complaints to switch out their stinger for this one, whether it's broken or not.

Couldn’t figure out why pour had slowed. Swapped cartridges, cleaned needle, unscrewed and rescrewed everything together. It just needed a new needle. The first lasted about two years before I noticed a slow down. Instantly restored flow!

This seemed to be better than the original. Another broken needle. These are very expensive to do this

I wanted a Coravin for many years but thought it was too pricey. Finally got one and was SOOO excited. Then the first two times I tried it, the needle bent and broke. At $25 each, I could see that was not going to work. WHO knew that you are not supposed to use it with a synthetic cork? That was the excuse I was given when I called Coravin. Can you imagine how they look at you when you ask the wine store if they know if the bottle is sealed with a real cork or synthetic cork? Until you unseal it, you can't tell and even then it can be hard to be sure. So all those years it turned out that it was what my friends said it was...a really neat expensive toy. If you have a particular wine that you know for certain is NOT a synthetic cork before you buy it, you will be in great shape. It was supposed to save the wine and ultimately save us money so it didn't spoil but if you wreck a $25 needle every time you try to open a bottle, you may as well pitch the leftover wine I guess. Time to make STRONGER needles.

I have had the coravin system for a few years and I am convinced they must be using a different type of metal, or cheaper version now. In the past, the needles would last a decent amount of time. Now, it seems to bend without trying. I am always extra careful when inserting the needle through the cork, and the last bottle I tried, it bent the needle while very slowly and carefully inserting into the cork. For the price, I expect better quality. I noticed other people on here have had the same issues and have also complained regarding pricing. The whole point is to preserve the wine, thus saving money, but if I have to spend almost $100 on a needle, it makes me question how much longer I will be using the system. I'm disappointed as it used to be a great system.

I unknowingly ordered the quick pour version (didn't realise there are actually 3, all colour coded). I instantly noticed the difference when I replaced my damaged standard needle that came with it. (Damaged after 1 year of heavy use). The quick pour is literally that, it pours something like three times quicker. Not sure if it gets through gas capsules quicker but we'll see.
