This is amazing for the price! My daughter has two american girl dolls and a one generation doll and they fit comfortably within the beds. My 30 pound toddler has stood on the top bunk and it didn't crumble! It was easy to put together (only needed a screw driver) with my 6 year old helping. The sheets are not fluffy and fabulous but the colour is nice and my daughter likes them. They don't go over the doll and just line the beds but I bought some fleece to cut some blankets for the dolls for about $5 on amazon and it won't require any sewing so easily fixed. There was a paint smell when I opened it but I sat it outside for 30 mins and aired it out and the smell was gone - no worse than any other furniture I have bought online and now doesn't smell at all.

I don't know how easy it was to assemble as I had my brother do it ahead of time. It was a gift for my two year old great niece and I knew she would like having it all out together when she got it. I was kind of surprised that the ladder isn't attached. I'm sure it won't take long to get lost. But the bed is very sturdy and she loved it. As soon as it was opened she said ' baby bed' and laid her baby down to sleep. Even though it's technically meant for American dolls, I got it for her baby dolls and it was perfect. Of course I can't help wishing it was a bit less expensive but it was worth every penny to see her reaction.

I recently ordered this bunk bed to pair with my daughter's American Girl Doll. It turned out very cute and my daughter loves it. Following the directions, it was easy to assemble and is sturdy. It came with all the pieces and the only odor I smelled was that of new furniture. I noticed other reviews stating that the bed is flimsy. Some of the pieces are thinner than others but if it is put together right they will balance each other as one sturdy piece of furniture. It is not meant for rough play and should only be sat on my dolls, not people. The bottom bed came with small caster wheels and small screws for attaching, this is a cute feature. There are also 3 blankets with the set. The only tool required will be a Phillips head screwdriver. If desired, wood glue could be used to reinforce some of the connections but shouldn't be necessary. Just as the directions stated, I put together the bottom bed first and set it aside. Having a picture reference was great but it wasnt very detailed in instructing how to assemble the main bunk bed section. To start out on this part, I recommend putting together one whole side of the main bunk bed (top and bottom). Attach the small side pieces (all 4 pieces) to one large side piece first, slide in the flat bottom mattress pieces (2 pieces) and then attaching the other large flat side piece. This will allow the bed to be sturdy and will ensure all parts are connected without being wobbly. Also, do not over screw, this is still a toy not real furniture; you could split the wood. The reason I gave the item 4 Stars was because of the directions. There were I believe only 8 steps but there needs to be a few more. Again, the pictures were nice but it needed more instructions on assembly of the main bunk bed. Not everyone will be able to figure out the missing steps by themselves, the instructions need a little adjusting.

UPDATE——if I could give ZERO STARS I would! I am less than 3 weeks after the return window and we do not have a bunk bed anymore. 😡 After having it put together for about 2 weeks, the bunk bed is a literal PILE OF TRASH. A child’s toy should not have to be handled as if it were made of egg shells. It has been carefully played with. My 10 year old 11 pound Pekingese walked by it and bumped it, and an entire panel cracked in two. The particle board it’s made with is not dense at all. Unless you want this for a display that zero people will touch..I’d stay away. I feel robbed. I would give it a solid 5 if it weren’t so fragile during assembly. I deducted a star for each piece that cracked or broke despite using much caution putting it together. (One bed slat and one bedrail) The bed is just adorable, and my daughter loves it. She is 14 with Down syndrome and is very attached to her collection of baby dolls. They go everywhere with us! So she is just thrilled to put them in a bunk bed right by hers! “Easy” to assemble if you don’t consider the EXTREME ease with which the pieces crack and break while simply holding them without support on both ends. I put it together with a little help from my daughter, but it really needed 2 adults. Once the bed is assembled, it seems much more stable, but I certainly do not recommend putting anything heavier than the baby dolls on it or moving it around. I talked with my daughter and showed her how easily it can break so she knows not to step on it or use it as a stool or seat for any reason. It really is too bad the manufacturer did not just add a couple of centimeters to the thickness of bed slats and a little denser particle board for the bedrails (one cracked when the screw went in, and it was not over screwed).

Perfect! My daughter is happy with this bunk bed for her reborn baby dolls and Labubus, she has two reborn baby dolls 20” & 22” & 7 Labubus, they fit perfectly; was very easy put together, the bottom part is separate from the rest and it has wheels.

I bought this for my daughter as she wanted the bed from the AG store, and I just didn't want to pay that much for a doll bed. She has three American Girl dolls, so this was perfect when I saw it. She has one bitty baby, one of the twins, and one of the just like me dolls. All of her dolls fit on the bed. The bed is made of plastic, but it is a very sturdy plastic. It doesn't look cheap like some off the other doll beds we have seen at stores. The ladder is obviously just for looks, but it adds to the whole "play time" aspect. I also was very impressed with the way the bottom bed rolls out---the rollers work well and don't get caught up on carpet. It is also nice because my daughter likes to bring that one by her bed and have a different doll on it each night. I am sure this bed is better quality and just as cute as others for much cheaper.

Perfect size for their American Girl dolls. So easy to assemble with detailed step by step instructions. Even a trundle bed for doll sleepovers!!! Quality material for stability!
