Love this glue. Holds lace really well and doesn’t turn white. 1-2 layers is plenty. I found that more than 3 layers actually makes it so thick that it loses its “sticky-ness” quicker. I sweat A LOT, I don’t wrap my lace overnight or while showering (I’m super careful to not get water on it). This glue will last me a good 5-7 days, without touch ups (with touch ups, it could probably last over 10 days, easily). If I was super careful and wrapped it all the time, just because I sweat so much, it wouldn’t matter. Because the sweat is coming from underneath, it breaks down the glue. Other glues only last 3-4 days max. I honestly don’t mind re-gluing my wig every week. It’s a little bit of a chore to get the glue off the lace. DO NOT use the bold hold lace remover, it ruins lace. It doesn’t wash off, EVER. I get the yellow bottle with a crown on it, on Amazon, for about $6.99-$8.99. It’s really good. Just an oil. Then I use an old towel and I will sit there for about an hour (yes an hour) scraping the glue off. But my lace is pristine, intact, and can be glued again after it dries (obviously you have to wash the oil off).

Will forever be my lace glue. Ive been wearing wigs for over 10 years and this is the first time I could find glue that does not wear off after 2 days. For reference I sweat A LOT, I mean A LOT at night its worse. I would get up and wig be lifted. I tried all the glues. This is by far the best. Its challenging to work with but once you get it your wig will be stuck for months. Guess what sis !!! I swam in a poll for 4 days (I used to glue to put edges on my braids) They did not fall off. I had to use the glue remover to get it unstuck. Bottle will last for months. I am writing this in June 2025.

I have been using this product for about a year now and now that I have worked out my own process, I won't use anything else. It did take a minute to get used to using the product. I had to buy my own set of brushes (smaller). I had to be careful how I handled the bottle making sure I kept the outer rim as clean as possible. I consistently get a 2 week hold with this product alone. That's perfect because I need to wash my own hair at least that often. I have found that the thinner coating you use the better. It holds the same and it's much less messy at cleaning time. I tried the tape, but it only caused me more aggrivation and no added benefits. To remove the glue I use a combination of C-22 and Alcohol. I spray C-22, wait about 5-10 minutes and spray alcohol and wait, I do this about 3 times then take a used dryer sheet to take the glue off the wig and it just comes right off. The thing about the whole lace wig process is you cannot do it if you are in a hurry. To do it right you must take your time. I am not a licensed professional and have used this product very successfully. The whole process of taking off the wig, cleaning it, washing it, washing my own hair, braiding my hair and re-applying the clean wig takes me about 4 hours. Once I did it in 2 hours (using a blow dryer to dry the wig). Can't tell you how many times I've spent that long or longer in a salon!! (The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it yellows and thickens before I can ever use the whole bottle)

Great hold and super easy to use. This adhesive works really well! The nozzle makes the application simple and clean, and the hold lasts all day without lifting. No strong smell, no mess just does the job. Dries quickly, functionality and Bond strength

Not bad although I don’t get a particularly long hold with it. To be fair, no glues seem to last long on the front of my hair system and presumably that is because I have oily skin. You need to be super careful when applying it as it can go a little “stringy”. Also, use it sparingly snd allow it to go tacky before applying the hair otherwise it will go through the lace and make the hair roots sticky. I like that it does not turn white like some of the other glues, although those can be a little easier to clean up especially if you wear your system for extended periods. Spreading it is best done using those little flat glue spatulas or a popsicle stick as brushes will have the tendency to form “strings” which just make a real mess.

Fast delivery. I love Ultra Hold despite it being sticky and messy. I've been using it for years but now I'm adding in EnduraBond to see if I get a longer hold. I have very oily skin and I live in the South (Memphis,TN) but I will use this along with red tape to make a barrier betweeen my lace and the EnduraBond which can tear your lace.Order:Skin protector, EnduraBond, Red Tape, and then Ultra Hold. Sounds like alot but I wear my full lace year round and I don't have time to constantly fool with it lol. Just make sure you let the Ultra Hold dry until you can touch it without getting any strings coming back at you. Yes I know this is hard because it takes a few minutes but it matters as far as it goes with getting a good bond. Press your wig down and don't get the glue wet for 24 hours. I wash my full lace wigs with them on in the shower and I condition them too with slight lifting(mostly in the nape) while still attached to my head. I wear them around 3 to 4 weeks straight with touch ups here and there. Try to be light with the Ultra Hold also because the more you use the more you have to remove and the best way to clean it off is using the mirror slide technique and instead of that C-22 just use Goo Gone! Way cheaper same effects. Hope this helps!

I have been wearing lace wigs for over 12 years now. I have tried many glues and techniques along the way. My hair stylist has been using Walker glue and Walker products for years. Ghost Bond and Bold hold do not compare and they do not hold up in the heat either. Walker glue can hold my wig down for 4 weeks and it feels secure. The others might give me 4 days if I’m lucky. You have to take your time with this glue and it’s really messy. Use a popsicle stick like the other reviews say. I absolutely recommend using this product! Use C2 to remove the glue from the lace for removal to make future applications easier
