I actually used this for my small poodle who was having issues with mucus it worked great I wish they made a tip a little smaller but since it was made specifically for babies, I can’t complain! My dog felt much better in a couple days.

One of the best if not the BEST nasal aspirator. We came home with one from the maternity ward and it’s way better than the electric one. Just rinse with hot water/sterilize before use and keep it with the aspirator down to dry and release excess water. It’s great!

Works Great and Gentle on Baby! I’ve tried a few nasal aspirators before, and this one is by far the best! It’s easy to use, gentle, and effective at clearing my baby’s congestion. The suction is strong enough to get the job done but not harsh, so my little one stays calm during use. I also appreciate that it’s easy to clean — all the parts come apart and can be sterilized, which is a huge plus for keeping things hygienic. I decided to purchase this bulb syringe after reading numerous reviews that it is the same syringe as the one handed out in the hospitals post delivery. I was very excited to find this product on Amazon, as I have searched high and low for a syringe of the same material/quality/size as the one that my baby received post delivery, with very poor results. Most syringes are either made out of flimsy "plastic" material that doesn't provide much suction or are too big or difficult to depress. My daugher has reflux symtpoms, and thus needs to be suctioned after each spit-up (multiple times a day) in order not to choke. Her tiny nostrils as well as her mouth get suctioned regularly per doctor's recommendation. The hospital-given syringe is compact and made out of heavy-duty rubber material that has a lot of "spring" and is easy to depress, plus it fits comfortably in my daughter's nose in order to suction without causing much discomfort, yet producing great results. Per the reviews and descriptions, I expected the same from this syringe. My expectations were let down. The syringe arrived packaged securely and hermetically in a hospital-grade plastic sterile packaging labeled for "ulcer and ear syringe." It was also twice the size of my current syringe. True, it is manufactured from the same high-quality rubber material and works by the same mechanism, however it is very large and barely fits in my 10 week old baby's nostrils. It also provides too much suction due to its size for a small baby. It works, true, but with mixed results due to its overly large size and medical indications. I find it hilarious that this syringe is sold under the premise that it is the same as the one handed in the hospital to post-partum women. It also comes primarily in the search field on amazon when I type "baby nose bulb syringe". I find it very difficult to believe that this huge syringe would be given by anyone in the hosptial to use on a newborn baby. I do find it credible that it is great to use for ulcers and adult ears. I do find that as my baby girl grows, this syringe becomes more usable, however, it cannot and should not be utilized on newborns. I do commend the quality of the item and it can be used successfully on those with larger nostrils, however, hospital-grade newborn syringe it is not.

This product allowed my dog’s newborn pup to breathe, and fit in her tiny mouth perfectly. I wanted a good quality aspirator, and this one stood out.

Disappointed that it came with no instructions how best to use it. Net mums had good advice on how to use it. Other than that happy with it.
