This is a really nice little dead blow, perfect for punches and such were you want a controlled impact.

Nicely made, good for general woodworking. I maily use as a chisel mallet.

I still need to get the smallest one they offer but if you need an all-purpose persuader, thwacker hammer, this is the brand/model to get. It doesn’t mar surfaces, it’s well built with high quality materials. What else could you ask for? Worth the money, IMO.

I was looking for a dead blow hammer that was strong enough to move a 8" Kurt vice when I have to indicate one in but would still fit my 1-1/2" Kennedy tool box drawer. This one is perfect, I have used it all week and it acts like a much larger hammer. I just have to be care full not to hit something harder than I mean to. Two months later, still love this hammer. Everybody in the shop has came by at least once to look at it and see how good it works. I tell them "that is the difference in a forty dollar hammer and those dime store hammers ya'll buy."

I returned an estwing hammer due to non replaceable heads and poor quality control. This hammer was only ten dollars more but its 100 x the hammer and quality. I’m a big estwing fan but made in the USA doesn’t apparently mean quality anymore. Hopefully made in Germany doesn’t trend that way eventually. The punch next to it is the 10 mm halder punch and my glasses are for scale since there’s barely any images of these available.

If your setting details this the best hammer on the planet. You can move .0005 consistently like with a little brass hammer. The 35mm hickory handle is the best

I bought this dead blow hammer for setting frets in my guitar repair shop and I am very pleased with its performance.

I got the 20 mm head diameter and its very small at 230g total weight. It's a nice hammer if you have a specific use case for this size hammer. If you're looking for an all arounder for household use, the 30 mm is perfect for that (it's my favorite hammer).
