I bought these solar lights as a cheap alternative to giving my patio some visual flair at night. I was not expecting a whole lot considering the price, but the solar lights worked just as they said that they would. They charged up well during the day and run all night if that is desired. As mentioned, you do get what you pay for. The entire bulb and covering are made of cheap plastic and the caps pop off with very little incentive. This was frustrating but acceptable for the price. Other than that I have been very happy with the quality. I left them outside for a month before taking them back inside and during this time it did rain a few times and they held up just fine. They won't light up your patio at night but do supply a nice decoration. I would compare the luminosity to that of Christmas lights.

We have a iron fence around our pool and like to have a bit of illumination there at night. We live in a very sunny climate and string up solar lights every summer. Yes - every summer, because most of them are not well made or because I manage to cut the wires while trimming the bamboo around the fence. I ordered these because of their interesting shape, thinking that they might throw off more light. They don't. They look very nice, but they do not produce enough light, even after the sunniest of days.

I'm rather impressed! These lights are quite dim, so if you want more then ambiance lighting, they wouldn't be to good for lighting things up. I put them in the top of my 12 x 7 greenhouse, and last night, the wind blew the whole thing down and plastic and metal rods were a tangled mess! I just untangled the lights from the mess today, and the lighting was pulled out of the sockets on many of them. I put them all back together, and those buggers still work! Couldn't believe it! The outer bulbs are clear plastic and they didn't break either!

I have ordered 3 of these all 3 now not working. Upsetting I bought 2 n about 5 months later 1 just quit so I ordered another now it has quit along with the other one. What in the world even the batteries won’t work in it. So I don’t know what has happened. My return has ran out 2 wks ago. Just upsetting cause I really enjoyed the look of these. Anyone else had this problem???

We just put a pool in and I had one tree in the corner so I purchased these lights. I Love Them... They are exactly what I wanted them to look like. We go out every night and stare at them. I can see them from inside my house and they are so beautiful.

I should probably wait until tonight or tomorrow to write this review. Maybe I’ll come back and update it. But it’s worthy of reviewing just on my reaction and what happened as I set them up. It’s so sad and sorry that it’s funny. But the joke was on me. These things are cheapest things I’ve ever purchased. Worth no more than $10 and even then you should consider them throw away and single use. The packaging is better than the lights themselves. First they don’t come with any batteries so be ready to pony up more for rechargeable AAs. They are decent looking replicas but that’s where the cool stops. Super cheap. The tops are cheap and one or two even broke off the top and the string came crashing down. But it sort of snapped back together and they are hanging again. Maybe an update tomorrow if they are working. Ok. An update is in order. They work. But they are very dim and barely create any sort of mood or nice ambience. However, my wife likes them. She’d like to add a third string to add some additional light and go around three sides of our patio. I’m conflicted here because of the cost. At $9.99 or less these things may be OK. But at over $10 they make me pause. They are simple little lights that are for appearance only. You really need another light source still - like an umbrella with lights. And considering I have to buy rechargeable batteries it’s even harder to accept the investment as being worth it. Maybe on a BOGO sale I can like these. They do charge up in the sun and come on automatically. I think the overall length was misleading. Half the length is just the solar charger and wire. The actual lights are about 10 ft in length

I have these on the edge of my patio roof. They are super cute but unfortunately for the price you pay, they don't last. I get direct sunlight, so they get charged every day. But after 5 months they no longer work. This was the 2nd time I ordered these because of the same problem.

I have owned these lights for over a year and they are perfect around my deck. Not too bright but a beautiful warm glow that presents ample amount of romantic light in the darkness of night. Product came on time and solar panels have never given me any problems at all. I need another set, please contact me when they become available! Thanks.
