The frame arrives in a heavy box and is bagged inside. With the bag removed it exposed frame pieces that were held together with large zip ties. When looking at it I could swear this was all a single piece foldout design as seen in the first photo I provided. This is not the case once the zip ties were removed what seems to be a thousand pieces were instantly everywhere. No fret, The assembly is a breeze!! The product includes a simple photograph of assembly which will get you at least 90% of the way constructed. There is piece identification too but the assembly is so simple that the parts are not individually labled. With all the hardware and 6 small square frames bolted in place only the individual ribs need to be added which is also an easy task. Two different tools are even included to make assembly as effortless as possible. Bye bye box spring, hello frame. Yup no more boxspring required. The height of the frame and just the mattress is even taller than I expected. As a bonus the height creates much useable storage space underneath that I never had before. The black frame blends seemlessly into the surrounds of the room covered mostly by the mattress anyway. The rigidness of the steel frame along with the multiples of ribs has made the base more solid and increased the comfort of the bed. If I had to pick anything to comment or complain about I would say it is the rubber feet. The bed frame is so well made that I think a thicker boot is in order just to match the strong quality of the bedframe itself.

I was really impressed with how simple it was to assemble this bed frame! no extra tools or complicated instructions needed. It took me less than 20 minutes to set it up, and it felt solid right away. The frame is very sturdy, with no squeaks or movement even after several weeks of use. I also appreciate the under bed storage space, it’s much higher than most frames and perfect for storing boxes or luggage. Good sturdy frame if you’re wanting something quick and portable. Setup was a breeze. Just follow the intructions and don't try to rush. Besides that can fold away easy if you decide to use as a temporary setup.

My 12-yr son has a small bedroom with a full size bed that took up most of the space. He did not want to give up the size of his bed but I wanted him to try a twin to see the difference in the space. I was worried if I bought a more substantial twin frame he would have a fit and I would have to return it. The Zinus frame price was fair enough that I was willing to buy it for trial. It was easy to assemble, though I used a rubber mallet to help push a few of the slats in all the way - they were tight. Overall, it appears to be a good sturdy frame and there have been no problems with just a mattress, no boxspring. My biggest complaint is the loss of available under-bed space. Where this is no bar, items can be ~12" high (as stated). However, where the bars are, height is limited to 5-6 inches. The end bars connect about 5" into the frame and have the folding brackets, plus there is a middle bar. This limits the storage space to roughly 34x30x12 on each side, or 34x75x5.5; access space is limited for anything over 5.5". Most of what we had under-bed previously doesn't fit; I have not looked for replacement storage bins. After 3-4 week trial, my son's only complaints are rolling into the wall at night because of the size difference & he misses having head/footboards; though he does like having more bedroom space. My husband (~200 lbs) briefly tried the bed and said it was comfortable - but only our 12-yr old (5'5", 120 lbs) has really used it. Now that I know he is OK with a twin, I will go purchase a more substantial bedroom piece. Overall, I think it's a great frame and I'm OK with the price I paid for this trial ($200 total for a frame, mattress, mattress pad & sheets). And fortunately, because the Zinus frame can be disassembled and stored compactly, I will save it for when my sons leave for college - to either use in their dorms, or in a guestroom.

This bed frame arrived in a surprisingly compact box, which made it easy to move. Assembly was incredibly simple, and I was able to put everything together quickly using only the included tools. It feels very sturdy and well-built so far.

I needed a new bed frame as my old one was springs that were dying. I searched all over the net for a cheap and reliable frame. I got this and put it together in about 10 minutes. I've only been using it just over a month and will update this if needed. So far I'm really impressed. It's very comfortable, quiet and just really nice. As cheap as it is I was and still skeptical about if it'll fall apart on me or collapse. I've seen others post pics of it breaking easily when kids use it. I'm a 44 year old divorced male, I got the twin size since it's just me. There is plenty of space under the bed for boxes or whatever. It doesn't slide around on the floor, the mattress will slide a little but someone here suggested using the headboard attachment and that works beautifully too. Just attach them upside down at the foot of the bed and voila! **update 3-5-20** so it's been almost a year since I purchased this bed frame and thought I'd throw in an update. I still love this bedframe and still no problems whatsoever with it. However......I may need to upgrade to a full size as I've started dating again and a twin size bed won't do for her and I. If I upgrade to a full...I'll be sure to get this companies brand and style. It's so easy to put together, reliable and affordable. I'll likely pass this one to my son when the full size arrives. I'll put another update if there should be any problems with this one and so far I've had no problems at all still. Love it!! Update** 6-17-20: so I got the full size frame last month and have zero regrets. My gf and I have plenty of room to "roll around" on and the new mattress is omg perfect! The twin frame I took down and have under the bed now for "just in case" and the twin mattress put away. I offered the twin frame and mattress to my son but he wants a loft type frame because he likes his bed up high off the ground.

I searched for hours for an inexpensive, sturdy and easy to assemble platform bed frame to create a sofa look with an extra long twin set up, that could double as an actual bed in my home office. There were many out there, but most of them included in the reviews that the legs were at the corners and were very sharp, causing multiple toe and shin injuries to the owners. After much searching, I found this one. It didn't have that many reviews, but the reviews it had included photos and were good, and the photos showed that the legs were not at the corners, so I took a risk and ordered. It came in less than 48 hours, and as it was reviewed, it was very easy to put together. The instructions were actually helpful, and it came with not only an allen wrench, but also an actual ratchet tool that was super helpful. I am a 50+ year old woman, and I carried this upstairs in the packaging, unboxed it and put it together in about 40 minutes, by myself. Once together, I put a bed skirt with a 14" drop to cover up the sort of "cheap industrial" look of the frame. As shown in the photos, the legs are in a bit from the corners, so the chance of bumping into them in minimal. In fact, no injuries were caused in the assembly of this bed, or in putting the 12" memory foam mattress on the frame or in making the bed. I just put it together and assembled all of the pieces and parts last night, and this is an extra bed, so no one is sleeping on it regularly, but I LOVE the finished product! I don't think I would recommend this bed frame for an adult sleeping on it daily, but it could be ok for a child sleeping on it daily, especially if you want to wait to get a nice bedframe, and it is a transition bed. It would also be good for a college student..even though they might be sleeping on it daily, it would probably not be for longer than a year or two. Anyway, I will update the review if the frame breaks or something, but for right now, I am extremely happy with the purchase. The price was amazing, it was super easy to assemble, and seems to be quite sturdy.

Es un buen producto. Compré 3 bases individuales guiándome por las buenas reseñas. Y lo agradezco. Llegaron en unas cajas muy pequeñas. El armado fue súper rápido y fácil. Yo armé dos camas guiándome por el instructivo que es muy visual, no se necesita saber leer para entenderlo. Además trae los tornillos y las herramientas para apretarlos. Yo no sabía cómo usar esas herramientas pero fue tan intuitivo que lo hice sin dificultad. Una vez armadas las bases quedó una estructura muy fuerte. También, algunos tubos traen cinta doble cara para que no resbale el colchón, sin embargo, preferí poner el mismo cartón de la caja debajo de cada colchón y es muy bueno porque no resbala nada . Por otro lado. La altura desde el suelo es de 32 cm aprox. Lo cual deja un espacio valioso para almacenamiento. Lo más difícil fue subir esta opinión. La app no me dejaba. Creo que es una base muy práctica, útil y funcional. Les comparto fotos.

Llega en un paquete incremente pequeño, es fácil de armar pero algo laborioso ya que se pone unon por uno los tubos que soportan el colchon, el tamaño full es el matrimonial, muy buena calidad y sirve para aprovechar espacio para almacenar, para subirse a pisos superiores por escaleras angostas, es bastante pesado el paquete pero increíblemente pequeño, aun a si con algo de maña se puede manipular por una persona bajita (aunque lo ideal es conseguir un par de manos extras), es solida y no hace ruido me gusto mucho aunque hay que poner algo entre el colchon y la base para que no se deslice si se empuja el colchón, es alta la base a si que es mejor para colchónes regulares de altura, aunque con los colchones altos apesar de quedar bastante alta sigue valiendo la pena, compre una de este mismo estilo de amazon basics individual y me gusto mas que esta sin embargo aun a si esta es sumamente recomendable sobretodo por lo pequeño del paquete que permite llevarlo a cualquier lugar fácilmente, jamás volvería a comprar una base “normal” al existir este tipo de productos tan geniales

Es resistente y se ve de buena calidad, pero en la descripción decia para cama gemela y el colchón que es tamaño individual es más ancho, la sobra como 4 cmms de colchon

There are some other models out there that were cheaper and to be honest, in this price range was the lowest I found at the time and I needed the frame so I ordered. The complete item came in one box and was delivered via Canada Post which was surprising since it's a bit heavier than normal. I opened it up and again pleasantly surprised that the instructions were in an envelope and was almost IKEA like! From there, the steel was well cut with little to no fine edges, the screws and nuts were packaged in plastic and I even thought some where missing but looked and it was stacked on top of each other in the package! Nice touch to have spare parts in a separate bag to keep for later. Finally, on to the construction side, as mentioned the components were solid and snapped into place very well. Took it slow and followed instructions; had to look a couple of times to review where the sticky bars went into the frame. Once assembled I put the mattress on top and it was solid. No squeaks or rattles after a few weeks! Good product! The only con and isn't really a con in that you know what you are getting when you order is the height of 14". I would have preferred 12" but wasn't available at the time. But the good thing is that you can store things underneath as well as getting the vacuum under the bed which is nice.
