what are the exterior dimensions of this box?

The exterior sizes are listed as 3.2 x 11.9 x 15.4 inches. The interior is 11-1/2" x 15" x 3" depth.

Can the bottom of the box be cut to reduce its height? I need a sturdy letter-size ms box bottom that fits a 9"w x 2.5"h drawer.

It's two separate parts, so no reason I can see that you would not be able to reduce the height of the bottom piece. Use a fresh blade in a box cutter and cut on a very smooth surface. My learning with box cutters is to use a good clean firm (strong) stroke; speed not important, but uniformly firm pressure is. I'd practice on something similar first so you get a good feel for it.

What are the interior dimensions for this 14x18 blue/gray box?

Have only the 11x15" box, which I ordered from Amazon a few years ago. I just measured it. Outside measurements for THIS box are 11 1/2x15 1/4. Inside measurements are 11x15 ". Based on this, I would think that the INTERIOR measurements for the 14x18" box you mentioned, would be 14x18", while the OUTSIDE measurements would probably be 14 1/2 x18 1/4". From this, I gather that the manufacturer gives the inner measurements. Does this help? I know how important it is to have the correct size box for valuable items to be protected in them. Sincerely, PRW

Please clarify whether or not the 11 x 14 box will accept 11 x 14 portrait pics? Thanks.

I ordered the Linco 8 by 10 storage box which measures 8 12 by 10 1/2 -inches so the size you order should accept portrait pics
