I can't tell if the back is curved or flat across?

Both the back rest and the handles (mini arm wrests) have slight arc to them.  All the edges are smoothed and rounded, too.  The seating area is flat, however.

Is the chair rust resistant?

All parts are plastic.  I just checked mine and I do not see any metal parts, even the feet are plastic.  Good thing. No metal parts=no rusting!

Does this have suction cup feet? We need to be able to move it in and out of the tub and can't lean over to detach the suction kind.

Does it or doesn't it have suction cup feet?  Officially - NO. Both answers jumping around in here!  The feet are made of a rubbery type material.  The bottom outer edge is flat, however, there is a small cavity formed into the bottom center of the rubber foot.  It's a small inset cavity.   If you mate this just right to a FLAT, smooth, damp surface in your tub or shower, and apply enough downward force (weight by sitting on the chair) a small suction does form.  The feet are not true suction cup feet, but this feature does hold the chair in place when someone is seated on it.  I hope this clarifies the confusion by these other conflicting answers.
