Pentel Arts Sparkle Pop Metallic Gel Pen, 1.0mm Bold Line, Gold & Silver Ink, Pack of 2 (K91PABPXZ)

These are hands down my favorite pens to use for coloring and art. I love them in adult coloring books and Johanna Basford’s books. They have a thicker tip so, it’s easy to color a larger space, however the ink goes quickly as it uses a good amount. The tips never clog but be sure to store them with the tip facing upwards as they have a tendency to leak if you don’t store them upright- that’s my only complaint. They aren’t very transparent and really offer great coverage Purple has almost a bluish sheen to it depending on how you hold it in the light, amazing sparkle Blue is deep and vibrant with a teal sheen, the most sparkle of them all Silver seems a little transparent Gold is more yellow Green is almost teal but would work great for foliage Black reflects pink/red Orange is a very vibrant deep orange with a yellow sheen Pink is vibrant and has a pink sheen. The colors are vivid and sparkle. They live up to the name “Sparkle POP” because they do just that. The ink flows very smooth and is very satisfying to write and color with. For those of you who like to do adult coloring these are perfect- they also go over color pencil exceptionally well. Since a lot of ink flows out of the tip, I feel like the pens don’t last very long and use the ink up quickly. They need a moment to dry or they will smudge. I hope they come out with more colors because these are the most sparkly, vibrant pens I’ve found.. You won’t be disappointed. BUY THESE PENS.

BREST GLITTER PENS EVER! I’ve tried so many glitter pens and these are so pigmented and have so much glitter and it sparkles beautifully. You can’t go wrong with any type of pentel glitter pens!

I love these Pentel Sparkly Pop Pens! I have purchased them many times! The ink flow is so smooth and the color is nice and deep! The pens don't skip and the ink lasts down to the last drop! I use them for adult coloring. I recommend buying these pens!

This is a really good pen for my card making, to write on my darker colors. Of all the white pens I have tried, this one has been the most consistently dependable. I will first test it on a dark color card, and if it's flowing nicely, it's absolutely beautiful. And mostly it is flowing nicely. It really pops on black, dark green, dark purple, you wanna stick with your darker colors so that it can show up with pop! Actually, this pen works so well, I ended up going back and buying a six pack!

Wow! Best glittery gel pens ever! Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth it? Absolutely! Their only down side is that they run out way too fast, though, not unreasonably so for the high quality. Such rich colors! I do a lot of coloring of drawings that I draw, and I wish their beauty translated to photos, since I like to share my art with family and friends. Unfortunately, the colors look dull and strange in photos. These pens create colors that change depending on where the light is coming from. Buy these and enjoy! They're awesome! Thank you, Pentel!

I watched a video on these and wanted to give them a try. These are really nice pens, they write smooth, no skipping or weird streaking on the paper. I'm typically a Jelly Roll girl, but these come a close second. The sparkle is really nice, my only gripe is I can't tell the difference between the blue and purple when it's on paper, it will take a better eye than mine! The gold really isn't gold, I would call it yellow. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again and that says something!

I first have to say this is my second purchase of these pens. I use the gold and silver so much that I needed to buy more. It was the second set that I had an issue with. Both the gold and silver ink have left the tubes and were dried out on the inside of pen. I will try and have the pictures to show. Now, to the plus side! I love love this ink! It dries faster than most and it’s richer too. Both the gold and silver lay down bold and solid on one pass. I really do prefer these pens to others and am buying another pair now since I am out of the gold ink! *Update; after taking the pens apart for the pictures, I see that there is an oily feel to them. All the pigment has separated from the base and catalyst. Most of the ink is in the pen top ( not cap).

I may have already given them a review in the past, but these two pens in particular are my favorites as far as embellishing lettering or illustrations. Glitter and shine are the best! I use other brands for more muted effects, and these for their “sparkle,” hence the name.

Christmas cards

These are so vibrant. They are 2 toned which confuse my kids a bit but once you know the colours its fine. Wish there were more variety of colours!

Great colours and ink consistency. We'll see how they hold up after a couple of months. Pricey though!
