I don't typically use primers so looking for a good one was a challenge. This was recommended and I'm so glad I tried it! It does it's work well, hydrating my skin along the way. My makeup stays put until I take it off, no more disappearing on me by lunch. It is sticky but that's the the point, your make up sticks to it. It does dry. I use a little powder and a setting spray and never have a problem with sticky skin.

I ordered this because I wanted to try the setting spray without committing to a full bottle. This bundle is an actual STEAL and is definitely worth grabbing! The Hydrogrip primer is probably one of the best primers out there. I love how well it grips your makeup, but doesn’t feel incredibly sticky or drying. I have normal skin and this works great for me. It’s not the most hydrating, but if you prep your skin correctly, it shouldn’t really matter. The setting spray is actually amazing! It sets my makeup and the mist is fine enough that it doesn’t mess up your makeup, but not so fine that you don’t feel it and lose a bunch of the spray in the air. This works really great at melting the powders together to create that ‘blurred’ finish to your makeup. The lip color is a nice shade. It’s a pretty neutral shade, but I prefer brighter colors so I don’t use it all that often. It’s a nice texture and isn’t too drying on your lips which is really nice as well. It’s not transfer proof or anything like that, but it’s definitely a nice color and feels really smooth on my lips.

I have been using the Milk Hydro Grip Primer for years and recently picked up another one when I saw an Amazon Prime Black Friday deal that was slightly cheaper than Sephora’s sale. This primer contains hyaluronic acid, which makes it very hydrating and comfortable on the skin. I have sensitive skin and have never experienced irritation or breakouts from this product. One thing worth noting is that the primer feels quite tacky when first applied. While this may not be everyone’s preference, I actually appreciate it because my foundation adheres extremely well and lasts longer throughout the day. Once powder is applied, the sticky feeling completely goes away, so it is not an ongoing issue. This primer is on the pricier side, but for me it is worth it since it consistently performs well and works with my sensitive skin. A small amount goes a long way, which helps justify the cost. Overall, this is a dependable, hydrating primer that delivers excellent makeup grip, and I will continue to repurchase it.

This product provided exactly what it promised. I don't wear full face makeup often because I have sensitive skin, but as I've aged, the lines are developing and I needed something to help smooth out the foundation application. I was able to wear my makeup for 8 hours and still have it look fresh when I removed it. It also seemed to enable easier makeup removal as well. My face was far less irritated and red when I washed my face.

This product starts to get tacky as you apply it. I think it does well as a grip primer. My biggest issue with the Milk hydro grip primer is that it has a horrid smell. It’s really bad and not something you want to smell on your face. The smell does go away after the product completely dries.

I really love this primer when doing my full face makeup ! It does exactly what it’s intended to do & some of the best primer I’ve used . I’ve had it in my cart for quite some time as an item I wanted to try & I was finally able to try it when it went on sale & I wasn’t disappointed ! I had gotten the eye primer & loved it, so I figured the makeup primer was probably just as good ! It is comparable to Elf Power Grip Primer which is my usual primer, but like I said, I got this on sale & had been wanting to try it, so I did . I probably wouldn’t purchase it again unless it was on sale since it is expensive at full price, but if money isn’t an issue then I’d say it’s 100% worth it ! But if you’re looking for a more affordable option, of course the OG Elf Power Grip is the way to go ! I am including pictures of my makeup I did using the Milk Primer for reference 😊

I bought this because everyone said: “It grips your makeup like nothing else.” They were not lying. First use: Applied it Face instantly felt… tacky Not “slightly sticky” More like “did I accidentally glue my face?” You have to: Tap it in Wait Then apply makeup like you’re following a ritual Otherwise your foundation will: 👉 Sit weird 👉 Slide funny 👉 Or just judge you When it works: Makeup stays put ✔️ Skin looks dewy ✔️ Feels hydrated ✔️ When it doesn’t: Feels sticky all day Gets shiny (especially if you’re not dry skin) You question why your face feels like flypaper Also: No scent = good Clean ingredients = nice Price = “okay this better be worth it” Unexpected side effects: Waiting for your face to “set” like it’s drying paint Touching your face and immediately regretting it Saying “it’s supposed to be like this” to convince yourself Final verdict: It works… but it has a very specific personality. If you like dewy, sticky primers—you’ll love it. If not… this will test your patience real quick.

im slowly getting into skincare but I have a feeling I'll never find something that works like this for me again! it grips makeup perfectly and my face never ever feels dry with it! my light everyday makeup stays all day but i haven't tried full glam with it yet so no opinion on that! i tried the mini then got the largest one once it ran out!

Amazing primer! Lasts you forever! But if you want something cheaper, buy elf primer (blue one). It's as sticky as this one. But still, I think this one is better 😉. Elf is good dupe though.

No me gustó, lo tengo casi intacto de que no lo uso porque la consistencia es muy pegajosa y a mí piel no le favoreció y aparte su tamaño muy pequeño para la calidad del producto y su costo. Me quedo con el primer de Givenchy.

Makes your skin feel nice and not sticky like some primers can well worth the money and a little goes a long way.
