Robin Ruth Mariners Compass
Clear and concise instructions, turned something I thought was very complicated, into an enjoyable and straightforward process. Have now invested in the angle ruler and am attempting the 'Juliet' quilt.

Awesome ruler & book!
Great detail in the book. The ruler is amazing. Very fun to make these blocks in a wide variety of sizes. The book has clear directions. I took a class which helped tremendously to understand how the ruler works.

Poor quality print and no templates
There is no ruler included in this as advertised. Just a piece of clear plastic with a template pattern printed on it. Worthless and very poorly printed. Very disappointed.

I hate these kinds of reviews!
But . . . here I am writing one. I've been wanting to try Robin Ruth's method for quite some time and have finally invested in her books, patterns and ruler. I'm looking forward to putting them to use. She has some beautiful patterns out there! And, I bought both blue patterns and green ones. If you have yet to get started? Remember, green takes one ruler ... blue takes the other ... and they don't mix.

Expensive book/ruler combo, but...
If your quilt-making is cut, sew, then cut again, you might like this ruler and book. I find this to be only a step above paper piecing. It was expensive, so I recommend you find a way to look before you buy.

WARNING: this is part two...useless without part 1
It was not clear when I purchased this that you needed the first book for this one to be useful. Planning on returning it and finding a different method for my compass quilt.
