I just purchased this - my second - the first one had a sudden rupture after 3-4 years of use - not bad I guess, but didn't expect that to happen with the braided metal sleeve. I suppose keeping it under pressure for extended periods doesn't help.........All in all a good item - helps to drain the tank properly to avoid moisture build up - without having to stand on your head to open the bottom valve.

These work great, just bend down crack the lever and you can drain the water out of the compressor, comes with an adapter if you need the larger size, so much easier than getting down on knees to open the drain, if yours is like mine and had a pet cock type, after a while they leak, no problem with these.

I got this in the other day and it is better than the original one on my air tank. It’s made well and it looks like a factory replacement it’s made well and it’s a great value for the money.

Easy to install. It's odd air compressors weren't designed with this in mind. Who wants to get on the ground and struggle with a hard to reach valve every time they need to drank their tank?? Highly recommended.

Package was retail and sealed. Good quality tape. Valve is good quality. Blue thread sealant was well coated and worked without leaking.

Great product much easier to drain the tank of any moister I order the wrong length which was my fault as I never measured the center hole to the tank frame so mine was 2 inches to long but great product

Almost perfect. It beats buying the black pipe parts to make my own drain. Plus its brass so it won't rust in the tank. Minus 1 star because it doesn't come with the clip to hold the ball valve end. Actually can't find one anywhere. Ended up just using bent welding rod.
