Crayola Model Magic is hands-down one of the best sculpting materials out there—especially for kids and creative projects. It’s incredibly functional and easy to work with, making it perfect for classrooms, crafts, or even lightweight model-making. The moldability is fantastic—soft, smooth, and easy to shape without crumbling or sticking too much. It dries to a clean, matte finish that holds detail well and looks great whether painted or left plain. This model magic is so much better than air dry clay!! It is way less messy. We haven't had any issues with cracking. The kids love playing with it. When it drys it is still pretty soft, especially in high humidity environments but it's not a huge issue. My kids were taught that you can color it with crayola markers, they take a chunk of model magic, squish it into a disc, color on it with the marker, then work it in to the model magic. They have a ton of fun making custom colors. It is very easy clean up too!

Great for the price! This model magic isn't too sticky or soft. It's just right! Has great moldability and is great for projects!

I love working with this clay. I use it to make flower mirrors, to decorate vases, to add 3d pieces to my handmade wreaths, I make sandworm planters.. literally the list goes on. It's so easy to work with. It will dry, kinda quick but not too quick. You can always spritz a very teeny amount of water to your clay to make it dry slower. I haven't had issues with cracking. The amount you get in these tubs IS BOMB! If you buy the same amount in small packs you spend a good bit more. It's just a fun clay to use and the quality is awesome. PS, you can add a small amount of acrylic paint to the white clay and make a TON of different colors.

I love this product! It’s light weight, easy to sculpt with, dries quickly, and at a great price! My boyfriend loves to use this to sculpt his puppets faces! Soft, mess, free, and so much fun! Great for both little artists The biggest downside is that it does have a tendency to crack once dried.

Very fun to have. I like that you have the option to air dry or reuse. Pigmentation is great , really great thing to have as a homeschool mom or just because. Great for adults too! Very user friendly

This is one of my favorite craft materials for my kids. My kids love playing with model magic, and I love that it isn't as messy as play dough! My kids often ask to play with this, and they can sit for hours playing with it. It is a great sensory activity, and the possibilities are endless. I have also used it for birthday parties for crafts for the kids (and after each party, parents always ask me what kind of play dough I used because their kids enjoyed playing with it so much, and it did not make a mess). Most recently, I purchased this for my son's birthday. He had a space theme, and I had a table set up where the kids could make "aliens" out of the model magic and googly eyes. I also bought a bin of the all white model magic for my daughter's Frozen party earlier this year and the kids were able to "build a snowman" with the white dough and some googly eyes, orange ear plugs (for the nose), and black pom poms (for buttons). I was able to store the leftover dough in plastic bags, and it kept well and did not dry out.

Love this stuff! It's so easy for a child to manipulate, and mess free! Makes everything from Christmas tree ornaments (that are light enough to not weigh down branches) to figurines and anything a 4 year old can think up. I think it will also work well for making crafts and models for school in my son's future years. Easy to colour the white clay using markers, paint or even gel food colouring

Kids love it!

There was plenty of clay to make a few items with my kids it was of great consistency and not too sticky which was amazing. The product was a great size great price and very easy to sculpt into shapes. Excellent product
