It seemed thin, but I purchased an air conditioner, and air comes through the vents. I used this and all drafts are gone, keeping them behind the plastic. A great product indeed, east to install. This is an affordable and effective way to improve window insulation during the winter. The kit includes four clear sheets of shrink film, double-sided tape, and easy-to-follow instructions. It helps reduce drafts and increase warmth by sealing gaps around windows. The application process is simple, using a hairdryer to shrink the film tightly. However, it's a temporary solution, and the film may not be as durable as more permanent insulation options. Overall, it's a cost-effective and quick solution for improving window energy efficiency.

Works great to keep the cold out. Went up easily with one person. This was a concern but worked great. Easily trimmed off excess with scissors. Fits the entire slider doors perfectly. I am pleased and will buy again next year when needed

This works well fire what i use it for... keeping those dang Asian Lady beetles out. I was so focused on that and dry they're real purpose, dealing the windows to kill drafts. I spent less on oil because the heat stayed in. That's a real plus with the price of oil these days. Measure right, cut the sheets, and apply the tape. Easy peezy.

The foremost reason for this: insulation. I had this on my window for almost a year and it kept the weeping water on the inside. The install was simple - you put the adhesive tape around the border of the window and then stick the plastic sheet to the tape. The tape adhered well. Highly recommend you clean the area to be used first; dry and make sure no soap or residue is left behind. It looks slightly tacky, but I kept curtains over it. I did my install OVER the blinds to not see it from the outside. The room draft was fixed, but my blinds were unusable haha.

Works exactly as described, these tape inside is not as sticky as I wanted but all is funtional

It works!!! I have a couple windows that don't close properly and would let cold air in. This winter I tried this and it works!!! It's easy to put on. Just take your time. It's almost like working with shrink wrap so don't rush. And if you have a window AC, take it out. Or you'll have to do what I did and do another section around the AC unit. But that's minor. It works. Keeps out the cold air. It's cheaper than replacing windows 😊

The sheets are à good weight and the product is easy to use

They idea is good, but it has a major problem. The problem is the two-sides strip of tape needed to attach the plastic to the window. It is nearly impossible to peel off the back of the tape in order to attach the plastic. I tried for over an hour to separate the cover of of the adhesive so that I could attach the plastic and apply the heat from my hair blow dryer. It is easy to attach the sticky side of the tape to the window frame, especially once you clean the frame with alcohol. However, it is extremely difficult to peel the other side off. The manufacturer should have thought of a way to make that easy because otherwise it is a waste of time and money. I ended up securing the plastic to the window frame with duct tape.

It is easy to apply and helps to reduce the draft and keep warmer the rooms. It saved me money in my hydro bill.

It was very easy to install. In every other kit i bought, the supplied tape was a pain to use, but in this kit, it was very easy to peel the tape without wrecking it.
