Does the keyboard have legs in the back to lift it up? I don't like it when keyboard sit flat on a desk.

Yes it does have legs in the back. It can be adjusted to two Heights. And the battery life is well over 6 months for the keyboard.

Is this keyboard relatively quiet when typing?

It is the loudest keyboard I have ever used!!! Driving me crazy! Any suggestions?

It is plastic, however it's very comfortable. I use mine over 12 hours a day.
