The buying process was easy and I am glad that I was able to pick this up for my daughter. The package arrived quickly and it was packaged well. There was no issues with the tablet when it arrived. There already is batteries in the tablet which was nice and made my daughter so excited because she could immediately play with the tablet right out of the packaging. The tablet does use three double A batteries and there is a white pull-tab in the back you must pull out to begin using the tablet. The tablet has a power button which is so nice and it states hello and goodbye to the child which is a great learning lesson. There also is a volume up and down buttons which is another great tool for us parents. The tablet is perfect for toddlers and kindergarten age kiddos. It has ABC's with Animals, 123's, colors, shapes, and songs. It teaches spelling, counting, and how to locate letter, numbers, symbols, and colors. The entire tablet is wonderful and worth the price. My daughter has dropped it a few times and it has withstood the falling on the hardwood floors, so I was impressed with that as well. I would definitely recommend this table to all of my family and friends and I would buy from Just Smarty over and over again. Their products are amazing, their customer service excels, they are quick with getting products to you, and they really understand a child and how to reach a child in regard to education and fun.

I was looking for a tablet-shaped device, for a low price, that focused on letters. At first it was intended as a present for a 5th birthday party. My first impression was not great. It looks a little cheap, but the PRICE IS LOW so that's understandable. I decided not to give as a present, but did keep it for a device in my home when the 5-year-old visits. The first shipment had an issue, but after contacting the vendor it was resolved. We've had the device OVER 5 MONTHS NOW, and we like it! BATTERY: Still going after 5 months, no replacement. It's used about once a week for 30 minutes, and we turn it off when not in use. We have not had the battery issues, of going through several, that some reviewers report. PRESSURE: When I first pressed the buttons I thought they were requiring too much pressure for a 5-year-old to do easily, but she plays with this tablet just fine - no issue in practice. ACTIVITIES: We like the MANY activities that are included in this one small tablet!! There's music, letter recognition, numbers, shapes, and spelling games. She likes cycling through the songs and jumping around to the different games - mostly the tablet asking the child to "find the H" or "find the red heart" and then gives feedback if the child is correct or incorrect. It has encouraging little tablet games for car rides, etc. It's not perfect, but it's very interactive. A solid 4 stars for the first issue and cheap look but the full 4 stars for the activities and for how much the 5-year-old enjoys and learns from it - which was the main goal!

I am excited to put this to work in my practice as an occupational therapist for special needs children. So many kiddos don't know their letters, making it difficult to try to teach them to write them. This item features easy-to-use push buttons that children can press to hear letters of the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes. Menu buttons at the bottom feature several modes, such as "Letters", "Spell", "Spelling Quiz", etc. - seven learning modes in all. It even features music. Sound quality is good and there are two volume controls (increase and decrease). This will be an affordable addition to use in my caseload : )

Well I looked at the reviews and thought I was eager to buy some overpriced cheap crap. Well... my daughter made it worth it's weight in gold. Ahe loves the longs but i am impressed at the levels of learning. Yes it is a kit gloves toy so i restrict it to car use but it is beautiful. Alphabet, counting colours, shapes, spelling and testing on spelling. Animals, phonetic sounds testing on letters, shapes and numbers. Wow. It is cool. It does look sheepish but it seems stronger than it appears. Note... it eats batteries alive. Remember that beautiful off button

Awful speaker very unclear and feels cheap. There’s no lighting at all to indicate whether it’s on or off, which is something kids usually enjoy. That said, the learning potential and information it provides are actually quite good. If the minor issues were addressed, this could be a much better product. I didn’t return it because it’s inexpensive. After all, you get what you pay for 😂.
