The side pockets were barely mentioned. They carry per pocket five Reisenthal compact carry bags (the best small folded shopping bags. £4.99 each, not cheap, but they’re remarkably big and they HOLD UP!). This bag is decent solid leather, LOVE the spare long strap for days at County shows, city shopping. Nice only very slightly aged as in, the dye is delightfully inconsistent. Really good look. Very good value, secure zips if you accidentally drop it, ample space inside. Recommended.

OMG... I love this bag! Great colour, great capacity, lovely soft leather... all let down by -- one of the pull tags on the main compartment zips SNAPPING off because the "metal" was BRITTLE. It just SNAPPED... and I'm not a "brute"... it just snapped under the force of a normal sort of pull on the zip, on its first outing. My disappointment was palpable.... I like the bag so much that I immediately made a temporary fix so that I could use it, that first time. I Do LOVE the leather and the structure of the bag. And I love the price, too. ... -- I will take the bag to a leathersmith next week for an MOT ... AND a repair of the faulty zip. Overall, I can't complain because it IS a reasonably-price bag; the leather is exemplary... soft and lovely; the colour is great, too. I really like the bag. Too bad I'll have to put my money where my mouth is and invest in fixing the metalwork...

A great buy - I am delighted with this leather bag. For the price paid I must admit I was a bit sceptical that this bag really would be cow hide leather....I can tell you it most certainly is leather and a good weight leather. I decided to extend the length of the zipped pocket on the back of the bag and in order to do so I had to cut open the cotton pocket pouch - this gave me access to the whole of the inside of the bag and the ‘tell tale’ underside of the leather - I was delighted to find that this bag is most definitely made of a good and decent weight leather. Little zip pockets on each end are just right for mini brolly on one side and tissues, mini note pad and pen on the other end. My rather large long purse now fits perfectly in the back zipped pocked which I extended a couple of inches. The main body is cavernous but not such as to be a cumbersome bucket and is just right for the odd bits and bobs I might buy. A nice design touch is a narrow flap that very nicely drops over the top zip. The colour and colour variants are very nice and the whole thing has a good look about it. Couple of odd little bits of discolour on zip teeth are definitely just where a bit of the colour polish has caught them and will soon wear off. I find the short handle just a tad too short for using on the shoulder so I need the long one attached and taken down to it’s shortest - I wish I could unclip the fixed handle and and take it off. I’ll use it as it is for the moment but it’s quite likely I will eventually prise the rings open in order to permanently remove the fixed handle. Very pleased with my purchase and would happily buy again - in fact I may well buy a couple for my girls birthdays.

Nice soft leather ,good value.ideal size ,thought it was good quality but silver clasp on long handle snapped so dissapointed ,loved my bag !!

This bag looks stylish and expensive. The leather is soft and the colour is very nice. The handle is long enough to wear on the shoulder, but there is also a longer handle if required. There are also 2 small zipped pockets tucked into the sides which are so useful for re-usable carriers bags or gloves. Had loads of compliments , All in all very pleased.
